Be sure you disable the sentries after you've destroyed them all.

In my experience, it's always Sentry first, Dispenser Second. Get a level 1 sentry working, get some metal, prepare a dispenser, and keep on whackin' the sentry.
Then upgrade the dispenser. It enrages me to see people start with Dispenser. Even when I'm an enemy spy (It makes my job easier, but still infuriates me)

That is true, but the sentry shown above is clearly up and running.

Maybe a spy Backstabbed him before he could, but with the sentry on the ceiling, he couldn't sap it.

There's also absolutely no mechanism attached to the trigger, so it's not gonna fire anyway.
#11 to #8 - anon (08/14/2014) [-]
unless you've never had a childhood, that gun has an automatic setting, so instead of having to link an electric signal to the trigger, he just has to have a signal going to its on switch
User avatar #28 to #11 - TheHutchie (08/14/2014) [-]
Nerf guns were expensive and I grew up in a poor household, so I missed out. I apologise for my ignorance.
User avatar #10 to #8 - pawnman (08/14/2014) [-]
The trigger is wired electrically
User avatar #2 to #1 - ruinsage (08/14/2014) [-]
You see the wires?
It doesn't need batteries
User avatar #54 to #2 - hattheifbatman (08/15/2014) [-]
It's also just a nerf gun, it's not hard to make things to pull the trigger or something

Tthe trigger in the stampede is just a switch for a motor. It looks like they've rewired the switch to whatevers controlling the whole thing.

Assuming the Nerf gun's weight is supported, just about any hobby store servo would be able to rotate/elevate the gun, provided it was in the right configuration. Servos are used in all types of hobbies, but most commonly in the field of remotely-controlled vehicles. It's how you turn the wheels/rudder of a car/boat, and move the control surfaces, fuel valves, retractable landing gear and such in model planes. Considering they went all-out on the Nerf gun, I'm going to assume they had at least a little money to spend, and could get servos with decent power.
