Can we please stop downvoting people for saying TL;DR ? This is an image website, and while I'm grateful to anyone who does read it, I know this is mostly a time wasting site where people flick through content, and this is in like the top 1% of length

I'm just glad for those that did read it

I read the whole thing.
And dammit, I am kindof proud there is someone
out there that has the patience to write long essays
like I do and shares my same opinion.

For once... this comment will be short.
I can even forgive the pony bit in the middle despite being a fan.
That right there was poetry.

My only regret, is that no SJW would be open-minded enough to even read 1/4 of all that.
At least, it served to reaffirm that there are people out there that think like me.
I've nothing more to say.

There are posts that criticize some aspects of feminism, or make fun of it, but there are very rarely ones which so completely describe the enormous number of flaws in the idea of Social Justice Warriors.
#439 to #310 - cerig (08/29/2014) [-]
And why do we even call them "warriors" extremists and militants sounds more appropriate
User avatar #440 to #439 - greyhoundfd (08/29/2014) [-]
Because society views them as good, we're really the only ones who get that they're ******** crazy. That's why we get called extremists and militants when we complain about **** , but they get called Social Justice Warriors by society when they complain about **** . The idea of it being an insult is pretty much limited to us.
#444 to #440 - cerig (08/29/2014) [-]
Society, or they themselves? I opt for the latter and that society just gave up and went with it. If anything this needs to be changed like feminists and feminazis.
User avatar #447 to #444 - greyhoundfd (08/29/2014) [-]
How often do you see media or even anyone but the sort of people we associate with criticizing feminism or SJWs? It never happens, it's always one sided, and almost every media outlet loves Social Justice even if it's a sham. Meanwhile, if we even say **** to them, we're portrayed as "cyberbullies" and trolls and our points are made moot. Calling them extremists or militants won't change **** because it's a term that can only be adopted after society hates a group to cement that rage, not before.

No one hates a group because they're called terrorists. People call groups terrorists because they hate them.
#456 to #447 - cerig (08/29/2014) [-]
Generally speaking yes the media does tend to support them, but only because theres a lack of counter media. Words have power, and their meanings change, the question is how will it start? FYI it was a friend of Rush Limbaugh that coined the tern Feminazi we use today and was originally intended to be used in the abortion debate, but has since outgrown its use. I'd like to think the same can be done with the social justice militants if used thoroughly enough.
#461 to #456 - cerig (08/29/2014) [-]
Its not a matter of right or wrong, rather its a matter of perception. Y'see the SJE crowd is good at that hearts and minds ******** that the liberal media loves so much. They make alot of converts through sublte *********** , and the only way to fight the fire is with a different fire. Hence why words have power, get your friends to stop calling the SJE warriors, and its spreads to their friends, and their friends. Acutally maybe Social Justice Nazi SJN sounds better, might not roll off the tongue but the connotation is clearer.

A teenage girl has an appointment with a psychiatrist. She's currently sitting in the waiting room, as far from the white man in the room as possible. She's looking down at her uggs through her glassless thick rims, fiddling with her bag that's covered in pins showing that she's vegan, and for the equality of all 34 genders.

She's called next, and she starts walking into the doctor's office, glaring at the man as she's forced to pass him. Inside, the doctor asks her to sit down and start telling him why's she's there. After quickly reminding the psychiatrist that telling her what to do is considered rape, she starts telling him about how horrible of a life she's had. Her parents divorced when she was 12, her friends sometimes don't have the time to hang out with her, causing her to sometimes feel really lonely, and after a while she finally reveals to him that she's been raped 327 times, not counting the one she just experienced. She goes on to tell him the horrible effects this ordeal has had on her, such as her feeling suicidal, suffering from PTSD, becoming bipolar, and so forth. The doctor at first seems hesitant for some reason, but is then persuaded to give her the diagnosis that she's clinically depressed.

Walking out of the office, the girl smiles wide, frowns as she walks past the white man in the waiting room, but then smiles again all the way home. She gets on her Mac, sips some dairy-free Starbucks, and starts announcing the good news on tumblr. Finally she's able to say that she is diagnosed with depression, without people being able to tell her otherwise.

User avatar #163 to #99 - TarnRazor (08/29/2014) [-]
While I think the whole notion of other kin is ridiculous my self, it's less to do with genetics and more to do with the spiritual side. Other kin feel like a part of their previous life's soul latched onto their current life's soul or something. I really have no idea how people keep coming up with this **** .
#203 to #163 - John Cena (08/29/2014) [-]
But even then they can't prove it. Most the time they pick they're favourite animal from a bunch of furry porn and act like they "channel" it. Even if souls and past lives are real, these people haven't been told by any medium. Just by they're own preference, especially those who claim to be mythological creatures. I had a dream about being a dragon once, and I'm pretty sure dragons are mythological and I'm not actually one.

Whoever made this made some really good points, and I agree with everything except what is mentioned about them actually getting off of tumblr and doing something about it.

I don't think they should because frankly, what they think are problems aren't really problems at all, they just want to play victim because they are insecure and it makes them feel better, knowing they have a place, somewhere in the world. There are real problems in this world, and the first place to confront them is in the US Gov't. (In the US at least, idk about other places). That's just my take on it though.

All ******** aside, we need to identify a problem and stick with it and solve it, instead of trying to solve everything or bickering among ourselves. That's another thing about SJWs, everything is a problem to them, but they're too busy bitching about every problem to solve anything. I feel like that's one thing that's wrong with normal people irl, there's just too much **** that needs to be handled. But we need to figure something out or we're ****** .

I dunno man, ****** weird.

Welp, I agree with pretty much all of that. Except for the patriarchy. There is no patriarchy in the U.S. You want actual patriarchy? Try the middle east.

When the vast majority of people with power are men, there's a patriarchy.

Not to the extent that SJWs want to believe, not even close, but it's there.
User avatar #393 to #173 - Jabberwocky (08/29/2014) [-]
A patriarchy is defined as a social system in which women are excluded and powerless. There is a metric ******* of evidence that shows women have much more power and influence than they think they do. For instance, they control a majority of household income, own roughly half of all businesses, are world leaders in multiple western countries, etc. Women aren't being suppressed or oppressed in the western world. I'm not saying there isn't sexism, and I'm not saying that the majority of government officials isn't men, but those things do not add up to a patriarchy.
User avatar #459 to #455 - Jabberwocky (08/29/2014) [-]
Welp, clearly whatever I had read earlier (and am now unable to find for some reason) was inaccurate. That said, women owning 30 percent of businesses and that number going up every year pretty much invalidates the idea that women are excluded from society and are subordinate to their male rulers. Women have many advantages over men that most feminists and SJWs don't even consider. Divorce courts, child custody, lower suicide rate, higher college grad rate, longer life expectancy, don't have to register for the draft (in the U.S.), can get away with rape accusations, are only 2 or 3 percent of workplace deaths, etc. Some people just want to be victims and will ignore or irrationally explain away things like, you know, facts to justify their dreadfully inaccurate claims.
User avatar #460 to #459 - loctos (08/29/2014) [-]
I didn't disagree with your viewpoint. Fact checking is important though.
#394 to #393 - nahbro (08/29/2014) [-]
Okay, I'm gonna say that I absolutely do not believe that women own roughly half of all businesses. Got a source for that? Because the vast majority of CEOs, corporation owners and significant stockholders are men. Unless we're putting Microsoft and a small knitwear shop on the same scale, I'd say that statistic is either false or misleading.

It's a simple fact that most of the people in power are men. It's inevitable that there are at least elements of a patriarchy- again, nowhere near the extent that radfems want to believe, but there are. There are of course places in society where women have definite advantages, but on the whole men tend to have more power just about everywhere.

A bigger pile of **** existing doesn't make a smaller pile exist any less.
User avatar #161 to #79 - TarnRazor (08/29/2014) [-]
As a Middle Eastern, I have to disagree. There's a patriarchy. Just because it isn't as obvious or terrible as the one in the Middle East doesn't mean it doesn't exist. There's less of a patriarchy in the US but it's still there.
