Thank you government for wasting money to tell me how to live my life.
Please spend as much as you need, and ticket me if I choose to not wear a seatbelt.
Make sure the fine is really high so I learn my lesson, and so that the local precinct can keep the donuts flowing.

You're required to wear a seatbelt because it could be dangerous not to. But you can ride around on one of these without so much as a helmet in some states. Don't get me wrong, I like seatbelts, I like motorcycles. It just seems a little hypocritical to have mandatory seatbelts unless but you can ride around on a small, hard to see, extremely fragile vehicle with literally no protection from anything.

I guess the motorcycle is more lenient on laws because theres nothing really protecting you from impact to begin with so they just thought **** it

yfw.jpg when you realize you live in a country where a woman can get an abortion without ever asking the father if he wants the kid (or even know who the father is) because it's her body.

Oh, you're not wearing your seatbelt which could only ever result in physical harm to you and absolutely noone else, here's your ticket.

wtf do we do when pregnant women stop wearing seatbelts....

It amazes me how ******* laziness and being stubborn can lead people to early deaths.
>Texting on the highway
>Not buckling your seatbelt
>Not yielding when someone has the right of way
>Driving when you know you're drunk as ****

The sad truth is that the people who make those ****** decisions deserve the consequences of their bad choices.

I used to be really misanthropic and think, "You know, if it wasn't for all the innocent casualties, we should just let people drive drunk, not wear seatbelts, and make all drugs legal. I'm not talking about pot, I'm talking about the drugs that make your dick fall off. Let all these people kill themselves off via natural selection." Sadly, however, the asshole that drives drunk stands a good chance of crashing into somebody that isn't a total waste of space, and that's not cool. So I guess we should just keep trucking'...

Do I only have to wear one in years that end in a 2?
ahaha aha ahaha, but seriously the government should make it illegal to not wear a seatbelt if they are so worried, and then if people don't wear it then it's their fault if people die.

It kinda is, since you get pulled over and ticketed.

Who doesn't put a seatbelt on? seriously? its something so small to do that literally saves your life.
User avatar #127 to #125 - serterazi (01/01/2014) [-]
Oh Jim, I know people who keep the buckle in their right hand and refuse to plug it in just to pass the Police station and then release it. I saw someone holding on it for 10 ******* minutes

i understand why seat belts exist but...why is it a law?
why are you penalized for endangering yourself?

I understand why they say to put your seatbelts on (and i do it), but i always get reminded of all those moments in movies where they need to jump out of the car fast, or when their seatbelt gets jammed (and some cliche fire heading towards their fuel tank.)..

But yeah, i guess its useful to always use it.

The way I see it is that people can do whatever they want except if they are endangering someone else's life.

If you want to **** up your life with hard drugs go for it, but if you drive drunk or stupidly and risk other peoples lives, **** you.
