I guess one person thumbed down because he should have done it in the first place and everybody thumbed down because we can be a huge hive mind sometimes.

Considering how multiplayer Minecraft is coded (private MMO servers possible) and how long and hard it is to create giant landscapes by putting blocks one-by-one, it's not that surprising people would pay for this kind of thing.
I mean it surprises me that games like the smash brothers franchise are taken even remotely seriously in a competitive setting so I mean that's the kind of thing that I wouldnt expect to be
Majority of the smash players I saw at NWM were young teens to creepy adults. Most of the young adults were playing Street Fighter/Tekken/MKX and the weeby outcasts were upstairs playing Persona or some anime fighting game.
My laptop easily goes 100º C.
Tbh I don't even know why Minecraft eats so much CPU. There are multiple remakes in other programming languages and they run great. Ofc those are simple renderers and don't have any editing / AI.
Unfortunately Planetminecraft is full of ****** moderators and ****** people and is constantly down. I saw some upcoming site that will likely be it's rival and probably replace it. I think it was called like Blokarts or something. They have a twitter or something with some pictures.
i always use worldpainter for my projects..
although this program is better at details, i prefer worldpainter as things often get a little intense with this, using worldedit you can make a world that's actually usefull for building large things like cities and villages without it being too flat.
plus, worldpainter takes like 1.5 hours max for a detailed 2000x2000 map
this, on the other hand......
It's also not some random map. It's a recreation of the Land of Ooo from Adventure Time. If you think the map is dull, take it up with Ward. The map looks dull because all you see is empty space and rough outlines of where tress should be. That's why I want a 3D map so these things can be seen so it doesn't look dull.
How do I get it to show in 3D? It looks empty because it doesn't have everything I built which is exactly why I want a 3D map so people can see the progress I made.
There not seeds. These are all player made environnements. Not sure where to download them but I'm sure if you look around you can find them somewhere.
