I never thought I'd take Devil's Advocate, but here we go:
I don't think Bieber is entirely to blame for his douchebaggery.
I mean yeah, he's a prick, but you can credit a fair amount to his mom.
She knew damn well that having her son gain fame at the maturing age is the most stunting thing, as it deprives one of morals and empathy.
Not to mention bandwagons, before there was a reason, were really trash-talking a kid.
Being made fun of by 5 kids is bad. I assume by 5000 the very least isn't much better.
His mom was too busy counting dollars that she didn't think of taking him out of the spotlight.

Well, that's my two cents.

I found the Belieber.

This is what FJ think of your nonsense 2-cents.

While they're countin' dollars, I'll be countin' stars.

yes, we know he is only a cheap product of marketing.
Then again he chose his fate.
User avatar #112 to #16 - msypsylon (07/31/2014) [-]
By that logic no one is entirely to blame for their douchebaggery. We are all the products of our genetics and interactions so we can always blame the people around us for our mistakes, it doesn't mean we're not at fault.
User avatar #220 to #112 - garymotherfingoak (07/31/2014) [-]
It's never entirely 1 person's fault, and it's tough to gauge the percentage.
User avatar #37 to #16 - loonquawl (07/31/2014) [-]
There comes a point in life when it's no longer mommy's fault that you're a asshole.

He makes a good point though

Whoa whoa whoa. Yeah, being a famous kid has its drawbacks, but you need to realize the advantages.
You know he'll never have to struggle in life unless he is determined to do so. He is known to the world over for doing what he enjoys and people know his name for good or bad.
That is seriously the greatest thing that could be given - a secure future, a huge reputation, and a life that is as happy as he can make it. He will never have to balance "want" and "need". Anyone who says you have to have a hard upbringing to be a good person is just trying to justify their own ****** past. He's a cockbag because he's a cockbag. Not because he was a rich and famous child.
#53 to #25 - anon (07/31/2014) [-]
It's not all perfect, doe.

He'll never have to balance want and need- so he'll never properly appreciate anything he has. Chances are he'll always be wondering if his friends like him for him (lol) or because he's rich and famous. People will always be looking to take advantage of him. He can't go out in public freely without getting recognised and swarmed by demanding fans. He never had a normal teenagehood, he had to stay perfect, and now he's finally snapping and doing what he wants because he never could when he was younger.

I think it brings more advantages than disadvantages, but still. It's not all perfect.
#265 to #53 - justtocomment (08/03/2014) [-]
"normal" teenagers aren't exactly having a great time either. Everything you listed is more of the "people with ****** lives justifying the ********* " type of reasoning. You can balance want and need without ever having to be in desperate need - he just has the advantage of never having that problem. He didn't have to be perfect and he was far from it - the media can **** itself as far as he's concerned, he just gets paid more to act like the studio wants him to. He's a dick because he's a dick, not because he's rich. If he were poor he'd be insulting the girlfriends and wives of other poor people instead. That's it.

I am the little brother in my family. As it tends to happen with little brothers, having the title of little always attached to them makes them quite immature. Indeed, even up to junior high I was quite immature for my age. But I wasn't blind, it was about time I started experiencing the world on my own instead of having it shown to me by others. And soon I came to the conclusion that I was being immature and started to gradually change. Same goes for Bieber. Maybe his upbringing made him like this but he is a grown ass man, he knows what a douchebag is and if he can't aknowledge that he is one then that is his own damn fault.
User avatar #17 to #16 - konradkurze (07/31/2014) [-]
given she never wanted him and considered aborting him, i think she just ran through the motions of raising him with a give no ***** attitude and thats why that little fag gives no ***** about social norms
User avatar #133 to #17 - hoponthefeelstrain (07/31/2014) [-]
she didn't want him cause he was a rape baby. but Justin acted like not a douchebag for a while but once the fame got to his head he was a complete dick. That's all on him.
#19 to #17 - sweetbutteryjesus (07/31/2014) [-]
I never knew that.
#27 to #19 - anon (07/31/2014) [-]
Funny enough, he's a rape baby.

User avatar #99 to #27 - cantexplain (07/31/2014) [-]
So abortion after rape really should be legal no matter what
User avatar #20 to #19 - konradkurze (07/31/2014) [-]
if only we had a time machine and go back to right before the sexy time and tell the stupid bitch use a condom
User avatar #55 to #20 - flemsdfer ONLINE (07/31/2014) [-]
Like the anon above you said, he's a rape baby. It's why he holds the belief that rape happens for a reason. He's not entirely just being stupid when he says that. He's just bias because that's how he got here.
User avatar #56 to #55 - konradkurze (07/31/2014) [-]
gotta wonder about some people how they can be so fanatical in some ideals theyd be raped and choose to keep the monsters baby
User avatar #59 to #56 - flemsdfer ONLINE (07/31/2014) [-]
Only she would know why she chose not too, but I couldn't say if she's "fanatical" or not. Abortion is a procedure that comes with risks, and it's a lot to think about.
User avatar #64 to #59 - konradkurze (07/31/2014) [-]
well given what a walking *********** JB is/......perhaps the risk to abort him would have been worth it
User avatar #67 to #64 - flemsdfer ONLINE (07/31/2014) [-]
**** that would just be incentive to keep it. Do you think she cares what people think of her son? She probably can't even hear them over the sound of her jewelry clanking together.
User avatar #69 to #67 - konradkurze (07/31/2014) [-]

people who milk their relatives for money are also 'should have been aborted' cases
User avatar #70 to #69 - flemsdfer ONLINE (07/31/2014) [-]
I'm not saying it's good. I'm just saying if presented with a baby you don't want, but knew it was going to make so much money someday neither of you would want or need ever again, "the risk to abort him being worth it" really depends on what side of the bank account you're on.
User avatar #71 to #70 - konradkurze (07/31/2014) [-]
and what happens to said money when jb has his meltdown in a couple years like britany spears and others did in their early 20s

america already wants him the **** out now, americans arent gonna be patient with a Canadian stirring up a whirlwind of **** with drug and alcohol abuse like they do their own celebrities
User avatar #74 to #71 - flemsdfer ONLINE (07/31/2014) [-]
Well said money is in a bank account, and no one can just go in and take all of it away because they don't like him. As for wanting him the **** out now. Who's going to do it? Are you gonna go up to him and try to drag him out of the country?
User avatar #75 to #74 - konradkurze (07/31/2014) [-]
its not about others taking it, is about the little cumdumpster blowing it on random **** while he acts out

thats for the things he actually pays for....not including if he does a britany and just steals ****

plus theres a little thing called law....if a person from another country commits crimes inside usa they have right to kick him out and ban him from returning,....ever.....still wondering why usa hasnt done that already and if that rumor about canada not allowing him reentry is true
User avatar #105 to #75 - wolfuvdeath (07/31/2014) [-]
I am almost sure that someone's home country/country of birth can't deny them reentry, especially if the person doesn't have citizenship anywhere else. I don't know if Justin has US citizenship, but I don't think he does, meaning that Canada couldn't legally get rid of him if they tried. Just my thought on the reentry rumor.
User avatar #76 to #75 - flemsdfer ONLINE (07/31/2014) [-]
With as much as he makes I doubt he could spend all of it on blow, and he's committed crimes now, but I doubt the US will kick him out. He sells music, and they tax the sales, concerts, you gotta rent the stadium, all other costs that come with that, if he wants to buy a car every week and crash it, that's money moving and getting taxed, that's a business making cars and selling them and making profit.
User avatar #77 to #76 - konradkurze (07/31/2014) [-]
always great seeing america **** on its own laws for money
