If anyone is wondering (and because it's an epic story) the picture of the Apache is from when a few Royal Marines Commandos strapped themselves to the sides of the aircraft in order to be transported (as no other helicopters were available) to attempt to rescue a Marine who had been left behind as a casualty during a contact.

Google it for more information. It's epic.

Well in all fairness, it's hardly fair to compare our technology with an advanced alien race capable of creating gods.

I believe the actual qoute goes "nothing is stronger than love-235" which is a more unstable isotope of love used in the famous and incredibly destructive world war 2 "gay bomb"
#28 to #25 - grandlordchicken (07/03/2014) [-]
Well yes, early stages of the gay bomb were problematic, and mostly non explosive, however with the discovery of love-235 and the love enrichment techniques produce it the gay bomb became an incredibly powerful weapon, eventually leading to the "cold war"(so named due to all the sexual tension) between the US and Russia. Today gay bomb proliferation has ceased and the massive stockpiles are gay bombs are starting to be dismantled, however it is still possible that the gay bombs could be launched all over the earth in a "gay holocaust" which would reduce most of human civilization to writhing masses of naked body, furiously having gay sex. This would also likely lead to a "gay winter" in which massive amounts of gay sex, thrown up into the high atmosphere, causes the entire climate of the earth to go into a "gay age" which could halt the recovery of human civilization for hundreds of years.

apache does not have machineguns.
It has a 30mm autocannon which is better then a machinegun.

I really wish Seth would make a movie but would take a backseat in the production and writing. I want his influences in it, he's a hilarious guy, but it would be cool to see what he could do if he collaborates with someone. Not sure who. Maybe Martin McDonagh. It'd either be amazing or complete **** , not sure which.

OP is a ******* idiot who can't tell the difference between a object and an emotion. Comparing them on terms of which is more powerful is retarded.
User avatar #15 - andriod (07/03/2014) [-]
Are these still produced?
These thing carry an sickening amount of fire power. Just one of them could probaby take out an entire military base.
User avatar #16 to #15 - zerpderp (07/03/2014) [-]
they're still getting produced but sometime in the near future not exactly when they're going to decommission the Apache attack helicopter for Vtol attack craft

User avatar #18 to #17 - zerpderp (07/03/2014) [-]
well the design has been around since what the cold war so i'd say it's had a pretty damn good run
besides it's kinda needed as much as i hate to see something iconic like the apache go it's needed the apache can't really get much better than it already is they can do little things here and there but this about as good as its gunna get
you know what else i'm gunna hate to see go the A-10 warthog
User avatar #19 to #18 - andriod (07/03/2014) [-]

A royal marine got left behind on a mission and the rescue team didnt have any other copters so they strapped themselves to the side of this so they could be transported
