How can you "get stuck" on a mission?

You can literally "shoot up" everybody in a mission if you really wanted to.

Trying to kill the first brother in the wine cellar. The guards would always see through my disguise

Oh that was easy. Just strangle him when he is tasting some wine and then hide him behind some barrels. Or just rig the chandelier and blow it up when he is speaking with some bald guy under it. You can hide in the closet to time it just right.

Splinter Cell Co-Op Theater ( 1/6 ) Bob and Steve I remember that season of X-play. A lot of great games came out around that time, so G4 was actually really good.

Here. It's the first in the 6 part "series". Enjoy, again.

Splinter Cell master race.

Anyone else thing Chaos Theory was the best of them all?

SC1 was amazing, Pandorra Tomorrow was just good, Chaos theory was the best, Double agent was intense, conviction plain sucked and black list was quite good but I miss Ironside's voice.

yeah.

videogame soundtracks are ******* garbage but chaos theory actually has good music because its made by Amon Tobin.

well, some of the silent hill games have good music aswell, I guess

Hell yeah, I always though if they had taken the level disign of Pandora tomorrow and the gameplay and takedown mechanics of CT. That would have been a game for the ages. But I haven't played PT in a long time so my opinion could have changed on that. I don't like the new ones either. All that point, click and let the game play itself for you just seemed to (excuse the term) casualize the game far too much.

As someone who only really got into splinter cell in blacklist, I have to disagree. From the ones I've tried, blacklist was the best. The ones I tried were the first game (alright. Bit clunky, but fairly fun), blacklist, then chaos theory.
I don't remember much from the first game, except for the tutorial (very interestingly done) and it being alright. A bit too deep for me at the time, because I was too young to grasp the advanced mechanics.
I played through blacklist and had a lot of fun. The plot is meh, but the game mechanics work very well. The tutorial is garbage though, it felt like a generic third person cover based shooter, but the stealth gameplay is pretty fun. It felt pretty fluid movement wise, and I felt like I was mostly in control of my movement (no major problems).
I tried Chaos Theory, but didn't even get through the first level. The controls felt very clunky and non-fluid. I didn't feel in control over how my character moved, and the button layout didn't make sense to me. And in the first level, two people came through a cave where you had to go past them, except they saw me the instant they rounded the corner, and shot at me before I had a chance to react. Overall, not a fun experience.

Basically, blacklist is the only game I truly enjoyed, because the controls were streamlined compared to the other games.

In terms of stealth, yes.
