Interesting note is that horses can actually digest meat, and can function as opportunistic omnivores if the need arises.
They just don't have anything that makes catching prey very efficient, like a carnivore does. But I've seen horses eat birds all the time if they land too close, and I've heard of one eating someone's cat. They also eat their own foals if they don't want them.
I've grown up around horses my entire life, and I have never seen or heard of a horse eating any kind of animal. But I looked into it, and apparently there are rare accounts of horses killing/eating small animals. Crazy stuff.
That being said, horses do not eat their own foals. Some mares do reject their foal, but this means that they refuse to let it nurse. In rare occasions, she will excessively bite and kick it.
Also, fun fact of the day, most mares will eat the placenta after giving birth. It's thought that they instinctively do this in order to "clean up" the afterbirth so that predators can't smell it from afar.
This is the exact reason why zombie horses/deer/moose are really frightening to me, and it doesn't even make sense because I normally LOVE Glasgow Grins.
There's just something really wrong with being able to see that much of an herbivore's skull with flesh still on it.
I know this is just a roll, you probably won't know, hopefully someone passing by might reply to this to help me understand what he means. Now I understand people not wanting automatic weapons available to the public, I mean, I would love to own one just because, but in reality I know it's highly unlikely I would ever need it for a serious purpose. So no reason to get mad, I get that. But what is Stephen's problem with Semi Auto weapons? Is this a meme because what he said is stupid and it's funny? Is this a meme because it's funny but I'm too serious? Or is it a fake quote made to **** with guys like me?
It was an honest question, I don't know why people red thumbed me, but thank you very much for the answer. Admittedly my question was a bit stupid but I thought the quote was a bit odd, saying he has nothing against sport shooters, but then says semi auto owners are either getting off to guns or want to kill people. When the sport shooting I do is with semi auto handguns. (Glock 22, Rock Island Armory .38 Super, Colt .45 1911.) I thought there was more to it.
