The thing I've noticed is that the vertibird is weak, but ok for the most part, though like some mentioned it doesn't retreat. However the pilot is almost always the lowest level ****** around. When there are level 75s all around fighting and a level 2 flying the ship, he gets destroyed by any stray bullet
>vertibird lands, knights disembark
>legendary raider hops in pilots seat and takes off
>brotherhood is shooting at vertibird
>legendary raider loses control
>pulls a 9/11 on the brotherhood fireteam
>mfw
How dare you link me to something that fixes the problem people are complaining about!? IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE BASE GAME!
Seriously don't know why you're getting thumbed down I've been using that mod since I first saw the Prydwen fly overhead and it makes the Vertibirds way better.
People just like to complain about something because it wasn't in the game to start with I guess. I mean neither was my baby-nuke launcher but I didn't hold it against the creators.
i mean
if its a problem
it should have been fixed in either the base game or official patches
developers shouldnt have to rely on their consumers to fix their issues.
I'm actually really glad he linked it, and I'm actually installing the mod now because that seems really cool. It'll be really nice for the brotherhood to be a challenge, it always seemed like a bunch of power-armor wearing, laser-firing soldiers with air support should be a bigger challenge than they are.
At the same time, I totally get why he's getting reds. It was worded in an aggressive way and I can totally see how console users would take offense at a remark like that. I interpreted it more as a stab at bethesda than a stab at console users, but people can be sensitive about their video games and nowadays just about any console-vs-pc-war comments get thumbed down regardless of the side (though definitely still favoring PC.)
I'm actually dead serious. I just never bothered with them. Fallout 4 isn't an interesting enough game to keep me playing and I didn't know enough about mods when Fallout 3 and NV were around.
Reinstall nv and at least get project nevada
How you can possibly purchase a game made by bethesda for pc without the intention of modding it is pure madness
Honestly I just got it for PC because I play it almost entirely in FP and FP games just feel better for me when using M&K instead of controller. Also I've modded every Bethesda game since Oblivion and Fallout 3 so I already knew how to install the many mods I knew I'd be getting easily on PC. I don't feel like learning how to mod a console game.
I have a problem. I have like 100+ mods already and the tools aren't even out yet. It's an addiction.
I myself am nearly hitting the 100 mark use to be significantly less but then cbbe came out and whatta ya know, cbbe related mods fill up the nexus
I ditched consoles but I'm curious just how that's going to turn out since many of the best mods will probably be too much for them
It's because they have no "retreat" function, they just keep on fighting until they explode, never repairing themselves or returning to the Pyrdwen. At least that's my understanding.
Even if you got 1000hp, if you're never able to recover them, you're ****** eventually. Also, instant death collision because the pilots aren't that great...
Hitting objects doesn't make the vertibirds lose health. When you see vertibirds crashing into something that's just because the health ran out and they're playing a sort of death animation.
Considering the institute doesn't have any concern for human life.
I had mixed feelings about what the brotherhood was doing, I understand that making synths is bad, especially since they are using it to replace humans, but not all synths are bad. Valentine is amazing.
The game basically gives you four choices on who to side with, The minutemen, The Railroad, The Brotherhood of Steel, and the Institute. They all have their flaws and psychopaths and you get to choose which one you like best
I just got the World Series Bat yesterday. Everybody kept complaining about the lasers, the turrets, the laser turrets, and the companions walking into them when all I had to do was pick a ******* lock. I went in there thinking I was gonna have to do some Mission: Impossible **** while Danse stood there in amazement when all I had to do was pick a Master-locked door to go around it. You could've just had Cait do it if you didn't have the perk.
And nobody said a damn thing about the security system guarding the bat. Screwed up on the hacking like always, and within a minute I had Protectrons on my ass. Who needs all this security to guard some worthless heirlooms (not including the bat)?
Hey so I just started Fallout a couple days ago and i've been doing nothing but the minute men missions and i'm stuck on the one with the huge lobster thing. I've tried grenades, mines, missile, and regular guns multiple times and nothing seems to kill it. Any advice?
I only have 2 stimpaks and like 3 nuka colas. I have some Med-x and radaway too. The thing is, anytime it spits it's acid or whatever at me, I have to use almost every single one of my aid supplies just to heal from it. Thanks for the advice though.
Are you talking about the mirelurk queen? You should go get some supplies man. LEvel up a bit. The Brotherhood radiant quests are good for the early levels
Yeah in my opinion the Mirelurk queen is possibly one of the scariest creatures in the game, my advice would be level up, put on the best power armour you have and try to stay away from it, go into sneak mode, it's perception is fairly low so you should be able to get repeated sneak attacks off
I USED THE CASTLE'S UPPER AREA AS A BATTLE SPOT, THEN JUST SNIPE THE THING'S FACE (MAJOR WEAK SPOT). I HIGHLY RECCOMEND A BOLT ACTION RIFLE OR SOMETHING SIMILAR TO THAT WITH ONE SHOT DOING A TON OF DAMAGE WITH A LOW RATE OF FIRE. I ALSO RECOMMEND A CLOSE RANGE WEAPON LIKE THE DOUBLE BARRELED SHOTGUN, PIPE REVOLVER, OR A MELEE TO DEAL WITH HER MINIONS.
