HOW TO FIND A LOST DOG
On day of searching for my dog in a heavily
wooded area, distraught and hopeless, I ran into a
couple of hunters. They said they last the occasional
dog en a hunt but always get them back. What they
told me has helped many dogs and families be
reunited.
The dog owner's) should take an article of clothing
that has been warn at least all day, the Zenger the
better, the lest dog can pick up the scent.
Bring the article of clothing ta the Recation where the
dog was last seen and leave it there. Also, if the dog
has a crate & familiar toy, you can bring those toe
unless Recation undesirable for create). You might else
want to leave a note requesting items] net ta be
moved.
Leave a bowl of water there too, as the dog probably
hasn' t had access ta any. Do net bring teed as this
could attract other animals that the dog might avoid.
Come back the next day, er check intermittently if
possible. Hopefully the dog will be waiting there.
I was skeptical and doubted my dog would be able
ta detect an article at clothing if he didn' t hear me
calling his name as laud as possible all day for 12
days. But I returned the next day and sure enough
found him sitting there!
I hope this helps sameone out there who' s missing a
best friend. Good luck d

On fathers day, my dog ran away and crashed a party at some ones house. He just chilled out there while people fed him sausage. Anytime he runs away, he always makes a b-line for that house. He's a black lab, and it is a black family that lives there, so he probably just wants to be with his people. Honkies can be stifling at times.

I'm a hunter, and before we had tracking collars (G.P.S. nor satellite) we would let the dogs out after a deer and do the same thing when we lost track of the race or couldn't find some dogs. We'd tie a dirty shirt to a branch and go eat lunch. We'd come back after a couple hours and they were eating the bowl of food that we'd left under the shirt.
So I can confirm that this works.
>pic related, it's a litter of my dogs

So that way you can kill the deer and eat him.

I'm pretty sure chasing deer with dogs is illegal. Where do you live?

I live in the great state of Florida and it's perfectly legal everywhere in the United States as long as you pay the tax to get the Dog Running stamp on your hunting license.

When I was 8 one of our cats went missing. A group pf greyhounds had escaped their pen and were running around on the field behind my house, where they usually trained with their owners. The owner called and said that it looked as if they had eaten something.
I still remeber what house they lived in.
