I'm not sure how I'd feel about having a game like this on my steam profile. At least when I have games like (pic related) this on my computer, only I, and anyone I want to tell about it knows it's there.

what the **** are you? why should somebody care that you have a visual novel on steam? If everything on steam wasn't censored, I would buy tons of stuff like that.
Whats the deal with having an ecchi game on steam? does your mom check it, or what? even if she did, it's your problem, not hers.
Also you can make your profile private.

I dunno, I just feel like it'd be kind of wierd if most of the officers in my guild (WoW) were able to take a quick look at my steam profile, and know what I'm fapping to enjoying for the deep and multifaceted story elements it presents.

I never said that's how it works. I said that I FEEL like it would be weird for people I don't know all that personally to be able to quickly learn anything at all about my sexual preferences, or what I do or don't enjoy reading in my off-time without my having told them. I have never tried doing it but I read you basically tell steam that the game is running whatever or not it is actually doing so. There may be other ways but that is the easiest from what I have heard.

I am pretty sure it is possible to do a legitimate hack, telling steam that you have played way more hours than even your computer have been on. It should actually not be that hard. Steam counts offline hours as well and that should be pretty easy to hoax.

hes prob minamised it and turned off the sound, so long as he dus not turn off the computer he should still be able to play other steam games and generally use it.

That'd mean his computer would have had to have been on for just about 4.5 months, continuously. I feel like the parts in a typical desktop would have started to fail before that point if in 24/7 use.

But who knows?

My computer has been on pretty much constantly for the last year and a half only off when it needs a reboot. No problems at all.
