To be fair, you have to have a very low IQ to understand Big Mouth. The humor is extremely ham-fisted, and even with a basic grasp of puberty most of the jokes will fall completely flat to a typical viewer. There's also Hormone Monster's ****** concept, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily from talentless ******** writers, for instance. The """fans""" understand this stuff; they have the lack of an intellectual capacity to convince themselves the shallow jokes, were never once unfunny. Then they try say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who like Bigmouth truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in (litterally anything else) Hell, even "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub," from Rick and Morty, (which itself is a fast-fading show,) has more comedic merit than the entirety of Bigmouth. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those dumbass beta cucks stroking their dicks as Nick Kroll's greed and ego unfolds itself on his backwater piece of **** netflex series. What fools... how I pity them. 😂 And yes by the way, I DID actually take the time to watch two or three episodes instead of reading/watching someone else's review. And no, it is much MUCH worse than you'd believe. It's tailored for edgy ******** teens eyes only- And even then they already demonstrated that they're within 5 IQ points of an inbred koala (probably lower) before watching the show.

It's a Netflix show about growing up through puberty, and how hormones, thoughts of sex, development of sex organs, etc. play into it. Mostly done through the "Hormone Monster", and don't ask me to tell you what that is because the writers of the show don't make it remotely clear.

Fair warning, though, I cannot find an "objective" review of this show. Critic reviews don't seem to like it much, and most of the rest come from fans angry at the critics.

Man I have to disagree with you completely, if the humours not to you’re liking that’s fine. I think it’s ****** up but with a brutal honesty about puberty and sex. Art for sure is ******* ugly Though.

You see the issue is conflict of design. Below is quick review of the show based on mine
and many others.

Is this educational or gross out humour. Is this trying to give a message or just freak people
out. It is trying to do both and because of which neither side is working right.

On a purely design basis it is **** as well. When you have teenagers that look like they are 6
year old then you know something is ******. On top of that the lore of the world does not
make sense either.

Why is it the hormone monster was made when an alien ****** the planet and not say
a personal visualization of each chacter's wants, fears etc. Having 1 male and 1 female
hormone monster could work in a sort of "death the reaper" way but we see an adult with
one too. On top of this they are sometimes not seen, sometimes are, sometimes real
and sometimes fake.

When the show's design, lore, story, thematic elements and overall message is either crap
or confused then i fail to call it good.
South park, simpsons, family guy to a certain extent, and all sorts of shows have done
these types of messages and ideas far FAR better than this one has.

Brutal honesty about sex and puberty? What like how a character ****** his pillow and it
becomes alive/pregnant for the rest of the show? What the **** kind of message is that...
or how about when it says guys are going to just have a sweaty, awkward but amazing
time learning about themselves but girls are nothing but pain and failure... Ye real fair.

ghost of a 1970s musician that nobody but older adults would even ******* understand. And
why are there ghosts in this world as well? Was aliens, ghosts and primal forces *******

Afraid we'll have to agree to disagree. If it's a good depiction of puberty, you have better options. If it's humor you want, just watch Family Guy, Big Mouth practically copies it anyway. And for brutal honesty? Well, there's a line between brutal honesty and juvenile edginess, and Big Mouth sits on the wrong side of that line too often.

I agree. It's a quite good show if you try to look at it from an education perspective (and if you can enjoy some vulgar humor).

The people who talk **** about Big Mouth are those who think they're somehow intellectuals for watching Rick and Morty, because it's for "Smart People" and Big Mouth isn't.

As you said, it's just brutally honest about puberty and sex. But I guess some people just aren't comfortable being confronted with stuff like that.

I quite like it, but not for the same reason one would watch stuff like Family Guy or even Rick and Morty.

The show itself is pretty much about puberty and stays rather educational, while still extremely crass and humorous. I can understand it's not for everybody, but if you stop looking at the jokes as "haha, dick! vagina! hahah naughty words" and look for the educational aspects, it's actually quite good.

Also extremely vulgar, but some people, like myself, like that in a show. I feel taking a lot of recent shows into consideration, Big Mouth also tries to push certain boundaries.

Each to their own of course, but boiling it down to "haha, vagina" just shows that whoever came up with this comic, hasn't taken time to sit down and actually watch it.

The people behind the TOR browser, the thing you use to access the dark web, have been virtue-signalling like crazy against Andrew Anglin his web-newspaper The Daily Stormer when it began being kicked off domains on the "real" web, going so far as to say they might want to look into kicking him off the dark web.

When confronted them about their statements, asking why they didn't do this for drug dealers and child pornographers that reside on the dark web, they began talking about how diverse their staff was and how important it was to fight nazis.

In the end, nothing came of it because if they can shut down people and only chooses to shut down Anglin they're aiding and abetting criminals.
