>go to restaurant
>order soda
>soda comes back more ice than soda
>mfw forgot to say "no ice"
User avatar #34 to #3 - hokeymon (07/21/2014) [-]
They're still gonna fill it only 3/4 of the cup.
#36 to #3 - anon (07/21/2014) [-]
Whenever fags like you come into the restaurant I work at and say in a whiney voice "no ice please" thinking you're the cleverest ****** in the entire world for somehow tricking to soda/ice system, I give you the same amount of drink as you would with ice, except now its slightly warmer. You're paying for an amount of drink, who cares if that amount is smaller than the cup it comes in? Noone gets pissy when they order a glass of wine or whisky and it's not brimming the glass.
#46 to #36 - MDrDeathC (07/26/2014) [-]
You're a stupid faggot. It comes out cold already so getting ice just makes it so that if you let it sit, it gets watered down.

Know what? This is either bait from a troll or he's such a cum-clogged faggot nothing I say will make him change, because he'll just scoff at the idea of anything he does not being social justice.

You fight the power, booboo. You fight the power.

Did you ever stop to think that maybe some people just don't like ice in their drinks
#21 to #3 - anon (07/21/2014) [-]
clearly you dont live in america

A gallon of diabetes just about anywhere is 50c and you got a 50% chance of free refills
I give two ***** how much ice is in it when the cup is bigger then a small child and I have to hug it like a tree.
User avatar #27 to #21 - konradkurze (07/21/2014) [-]
im picturing you hugging your soda with your arms and legs and hissing "my precious"
User avatar #30 - undeadmaus (07/21/2014) [-]
If your refiller is not behind the counter, I assume it is free.
#33 - anon (07/21/2014) [-]
'My bad, thought it was free refills. Here's 1 dollar, keep the change.' Why could that not have solved it??

Not defending this reatrdeness and think it's pointless..... but if you steal from a federal office, then you risk federal charges. He took that soda from a VA. That there's no ordinary theft, it is NEAR TREASON! :/

No but seriously you know federal charges are never light or reasonable. I disagree with Minnten, he's going to need robo-lawyer :/

:/ Canada, and a Cat person.

We're as different as night and day.

But we're yin yang.
We balance one another.
We can't live without the other.

You are my nothing. And you are my everything. That sounded so ******* gay. All the homo.
User avatar #17 to #16 - reginleif (07/21/2014) [-]
Oh.... you're into that. :/

We really are opposites. Which is okay I guess except for liking cats, that's just poor decision making.

Cats are so goddamn adorable. And like with dogs, if raised properly, they can be really nice creatures.
Also I like to sit on my ass all day. I don't have the time for taking a dog on a walk.
Cats do their own business themselves. Enough for them to be really practical for me.

inb4 "Dogs protect you from robbers" This is Canada. Not Detroit.

meh, it's gotten the attention of the local press. It'll never stick.
User avatar #14 to #11 - reginleif (07/21/2014) [-]
hopefully, but this is the feds we're talking about, a lot of em don't give a **** about public opinion.

A lot of em aren't even directly elected so they really don't have to worry about one or two major **** ups like your local rep does.
User avatar #18 to #14 - minnten (07/21/2014) [-]
I don't really care either way honestly as i'd have just payed the .89 cents to begin with lol.
User avatar #20 to #18 - reginleif (07/21/2014) [-]
Not sure he probably forgot or didnt read a no refill sign, no one's going to steal a soda.
User avatar #22 to #20 - minnten (07/21/2014) [-]
If it were that simple there wouldn't be a federal case about it. If it was a simple case of forgetting or not seeing a sign the guy would have just been all "oh my bad, here's some coins."

My reason for thinking nothing will come of it though after receiving light in the public eye is that the public would never allow the roughly 5 thousand dollars of tax dollars per day that it costs to fun a trial on the federal level to be spent over something so mundane. He'll get a start up wannabe defense noobie and settle out of court for a fine of 10 dollars or so plus the court fees.

I thought unless the amount you stole was more than $0.99, you couldn't be charged with anything.

state laws differ. there is no federal larceny except for identity theft copyright and bank robberies.
