NO, THIS IS NOT
THE EYE OF HELL
This is the eye oi the goat. And it' s the
most _. ass eye available in nature. The
horizontal slits give the goats 340 degrees
of vision without moving. You have 210
degree at most, pansy.
NO, THIS IS NOT
This is an goat' s idea of as quick lunch. Goats

I YES, HIS can is
EATING A RIBBON
And slpl the tastiest ribbon that you' ll

No matter how much more you post after that, eating the goat's balls sounds wrong, especially calling it "Swinging Beef".
User avatar #48 to #3 - cubanwhiteman (03/13/2015) [-]
Actually doesn't sound that bad. Think about how awesome it would be to say "I have tasted the fine dining known as swinging beef" only to have the thought in the back of your head knowing "It' s actually goat balls"
It's like saying "I had sex last week" But in the back of your head you remember "It was in Taiwan"

Tried it a few years ago. It tasted like tasteless gooey sticky jelly to me. I think it's probably because I was trying to ignore the taste and just get on with the dare.

I don't even know what they did with it. They were cut in the shape of cubes, and looked and felt like jelly.

Ever heard of the money hall problem? Two doors have goats, and one has a brand new car. So generous to give players a 2/3's chance of winning.

Nope. And also, (1/3*2/3)+(1/3*1/2) is not 1/2, it equals 7/18. Google it if you don't believe that it is 2/3 and 1/3.

your right sorry XD confused myself up there
User avatar #101 to #100 - oceanmist (03/13/2015) [-]
Can't blame you, the problem was designed to confuse people in the first place.
User avatar #99 to #60 - MRfunnyFACE (03/13/2015) [-]
>>#86, >>#65,

Oceanmist is right. In the original the first door chosen is 1/3 chance of winning, then after montey reveals a goat, the door left over has a 2/3 chance of winning, thus you switch. In this wierd situation the original door 2/3 chance of winning. After montey reveals a door, the other door has 1/3 chance of winning, thus you don't switch
User avatar #65 to #60 - oceanmist (03/13/2015) [-]
Only a 1/3 chance if you switch your answer though.
User avatar #86 to #65 - twentyseconds (03/13/2015) [-]
If you switch there actually a 1/2 chance youll win a goat, lowering your odds.
User avatar #88 to #86 - oceanmist (03/13/2015) [-]
Nah man, its 2/3 of a chance if you don't switch, and 1/3 of a chance if you do switch. For the goat at least.
User avatar #89 to #88 - twentyseconds (03/13/2015) [-]
well if we are talking about the same thing, you choose a door, they show you a loseing door, then you choose to switch or stay?

Actually it would be a 100% chance to win because they would have to show you the door with the car behind it.
User avatar #90 to #89 - oceanmist (03/13/2015) [-]
Well assuming they still show you a goat
User avatar #91 to #90 - twentyseconds (03/13/2015) [-]
then its a 50-50 chance (50% or 1/2 chance)

Once one door is eliminated you can choose to stay, and keep your 2/3 chance of winning, or switch, and with only TWO doors remaining and one being a losing door and one being a winning door you have a 50% chance of winning
User avatar #92 to #91 - oceanmist (03/13/2015) [-]
All the chances have to add up to equal 1. So you can't have a .66 chance of winning if you stay with your door, and a .5 chance to win by changing doors.
User avatar #93 to #92 - twentyseconds (03/13/2015) [-]
That's why this is such a notorious problem. Its been on mythbusters and even they determined (with the original goal being to get the car) that if you switch doors, your odds are increased of winning (to get the car)
User avatar #94 to #93 - oceanmist (03/13/2015) [-]
Yes but they increase from 1/3 to 2/3, not from 1/2
#95 to #94 - twentyseconds (03/13/2015) [-]
DUDE, TWO DOORS REMAIN ONE WINS ONE LOSES.

that's 50% chance of winning or losing. Regardless of all the choices before, once you reach this stage its a 50-50 chance.
#96 to #95 - oceanmist (03/13/2015) [-]
Nope. Lets actually think about it for a second.
You pick the first door. Now, there are 3 possibilities for the car to
be behind, all 1/3.
1. The Car is in door 1. So, the host will show a goat behind door 2 or 3. If you stay, you win, switch you lose.
2. The Car is in door 2. So, the host will show the goat behind door 3. If you stay, you lose, switch you win
3. The car is in door 3. So, the hose will show the goat behind door 2. If you stay you lose, switch you win.
So, 2/3 times switching you win, 1/3 of the time you win via staying.
Can't wrap your head around it yet? Don't believe me?
Here you can watch the mythbusters since you mentioned it.

a LOT of animals have slit pupils. Cats being a notorious example.
Some even have adjusted to both benefits of horizontal and vertical slits, for example little known fact wolverines also have horizontal pupils, but they often search an area with they head down, so they are positioned vertically when not running. In bright light they shrink to normal round pupils
