Whenever someone types who their favorite character is on the internet, Gorge R. R. Martin's printer prints it out so he knows who to kill off.

He is only creating false expectations so it will hurt you even more when he does it.

You must be a sad and miserable **** to just purposely post spoilers and ruin it for others. Either that or a dumb **** . Or both.

At least I've seen the scene.

I haven't had time to see the show as soon as it aired. Obviously I had no time to read the book. Who cares how old it is? It's still a spoiler if someone hasn't seen it and you cannot expect everyone to have seen it.
User avatar #37 to #36 - SteyrAUG ONLINE (04/21/2014) [-]
If you can't be bothered to go get the information that's readily available in two forms, one of which is several years old, then don't expect anyone else to wait around for you to catch up.
#38 to #37 - badabongozaurus (04/24/2014) [-]
You are right. Posting this meaningless image of him dying is more important for the community than preventing a spoiler. The benefit people get from this image greatly outweighs the damage it could cause.

Well assuming the 15 thumbs up you received were indicative of the number of people upset that this was a spoiler and the 127 net thumbs up were indicative of about the number of people who enjoyed this, I would say that from a utilitarian standpoint this has caused more enjoyment than harm.

And if you still haven't watched it, the episode's been out for almost two weeks now.

If you can guarantee that the exact same number of people have seen both the comment and the post, and could be bothered to vote, then you are right.

I'm a college student and I have stuff to do. I can't watch GoT as soon as it airs. The only reason I am on this website in the first place is because I browse it when I take a **** .

It's a book that's been out for a while . . . This guy was supposed to die before now, but I suppose better late than never

I wish his death had been different, I always hoped his arrogance would get him into a sword fight or something

great actor man. he's actually an amazing actor. the way he played that character was amazing. i can't think of a better actor to play King Joffrey.
User avatar #6 - zacisghandi (04/17/2014) [-]
its ok that you can't skip it without seeing the picture because it says "spoiler" in the title ;)
User avatar #21 - mrnpc (04/18/2014) [-]
Here's a question: Now who's in charge? When Robert died, they skipped over his wife in favor of Joffrey. But Joffrey never had kids, so who sits on the throne?
#23 to #21 - Neodude (04/18/2014) [-]
His Wife. He had no sons, so his wife shall take the throne. At least, that would be my best guess. i haven't read the books.
User avatar #24 to #23 - mrnpc (04/18/2014) [-]
That's my guess as well. But I cant help but wonder if she will be challenged for the throne.

The war isnt over yet
#25 to #24 - Neodude (04/18/2014) [-]
Oh there's no doubts there will be a challenge. Baratheon still has a major ****** army ready...plus fire bitch. Most likely she will try to take control of throne, and Cersi will tell her to shove that idea right up her ass.
User avatar #26 to #25 - mrnpc (04/18/2014) [-]
I think the Lannister's have too much to lose by openly challenging her. She now controls the armies of King's Landing and Would likely be able to rally the rebels to her cause. She can also remove all of the Lannister's of the council and stuff like that.
Their best bet is to either control her or assassinate her.
#27 to #26 - Neodude (04/18/2014) [-]
Well...if they are smart.....and if tyrian does his usual smooth talking. they will realize that it was the pie that was poisoned...not the wine. Should point to her and her family doing it, thus setting them up for execution.
User avatar #29 to #27 - mrnpc (04/18/2014) [-]
I'm not convinced it was the cake, but it wouldn't surprise me. I also think the Tyrell's killed Joffrey. It just seems too convenient that he died on their wedding day.
#30 to #29 - Neodude (04/18/2014) [-]
I'm convinced it was the pie. If you watch, his wife what-her-nuts doesn't take a single bite and quickly hands it off to him.
User avatar #32 to #30 - mrnpc (04/18/2014) [-]
I also think the Tyrell's saved Sansa Stark. She is the Heiress to the North and thus very valuable to help calm the rebellion up there.
It also wouldn't surprise me Tywin Lannister at least knew of the assassination, he didn't appear to give a single **** as Joffrey died
#33 to #32 - Neodude (04/18/2014) [-]
I don't think Tywin gives too much of a **** about anything really. The thing with Sansa is one that I am really curious about. WE have been floating a few guess around our apartment as to who drunken bastard is working with.
User avatar #34 to #33 - mrnpc (04/18/2014) [-]
My question is when will Denaerys come back to Westeros. She has her army and an invasion, if well planned, could see then end of Lannister control very quickly.
#35 to #34 - Neodude (04/18/2014) [-]
That is more then likely a long way off. Just basing on comments I've heard from others. Also...she is being silly and trying to passify that entire continent
User avatar #2 - doctorfamp (04/17/2014) [-]
Can somebody explain just what happened in that scene? I've seen this picture all over the internet lately.
User avatar #3 to #2 - lordgeneral (04/17/2014) [-]
not sure if it played out in exactly the same way, as I read the books, but he was poisoned at his wedding and died
User avatar #4 to #3 - doctorfamp (04/17/2014) [-]
Thanks. That would explain a lot.
User avatar #14 to #3 - sirpancholot (04/18/2014) [-]
poison? he looks like he came out a car crash
#31 to #14 - anon (04/18/2014) [-]
many types of poison, with many effects
User avatar #15 to #14 - xxhadesflamesxx (04/18/2014) [-]
no part of his body has taken any physical damage it is just the effects of the poison to make him look like that
