Also, a gif simulating calling for the medic.

You mean people having the freedom to make their own life decisions from who they love to what they do to their own bodies, AND have the right to defend themselves?! What is this madness?!
User avatar #164 to #7 - elcreepo ONLINE (03/10/2014) [-]
Think of it as being fat on FJ.

Sure, people are SUPPOSED to have the right, but other people don't WANT them to have the right.

I am going to get so much hate for this:
Internet definition of Freedom: streets filled with armed junkies without any police presence of surveillance... because you know freedom. A little bit of Uganda in every country.

But that isn't what the libertarian platform is . . . there's no desire to diminish the power of the police force, or the weight of actions taken by the federal government. We just believe that the federal government should play a lesser role in people's daily lives. Let me keep my guns, let my gay friends marry, and let my stoner friends keep smoking pot. None of the above are doing anybody any harm, so there's no need to regulate it.
#32 to #31 - dariussibiu (03/10/2014) [-]
And there is nothing wrong with your ideals, from my point of view... just saying there are people out there that believe in that definition, with other words and formulation, but same thing none the less.

>Government keeps it's dirty dick out of things
>People culturally settle in whatever group the where already a part of.(this could mean racial, religious political, ect)
>Independent groups become harsher and more resentful of other groups
>small groups become little governments
>lots of tiny wars
>People are over all happier, better adjusted and less confused
>Diversity can actually exist

User avatar #66 to #13 - hoponthefeelstrain ONLINE (03/10/2014) [-]
But then people will go back to hating each other over stereotypes and go back to seeing things as "us vs them" which will most likely cause a civil war.

So basically like tribes in africa but more advanced and civilized? I dig it.
#29 to #14 - terminalinfinity (03/10/2014) [-]
Yep except for no outside meddling from imperialistic nations. There's always been a decent amount of war in Africa but it got 10X worse after European countries moved their armies in and rewrote the borders of Africa, putting warring tribes within the same borders, under the same "government", which turned Africa into a ***********
User avatar #71 to #29 - schnizel (03/10/2014) [-]
“The slave trade is the ruling principle of my people. It is the source and the glory of their wealth; the mother lulls the child to sleep with notes of triumph over an enemy reduced to slavery.”

- King Gezo/Ghezo of Dahomey 1840

******* waged war as much as the Europeans, but we do it better.
#152 to #71 - anon (03/10/2014) [-]
A filthy jew pretending to be European? I bet that as soon as someone says something anti-israel you pull out the "anti-simetic" card.
#158 to #71 - terminalinfinity (03/10/2014) [-]
I didn't say they weren't warlike. But that doesn't mean the Berlin Conference didn't multiply the conflicts in Africa tenfold. Also, one man does not speak for all of the people of every tribe in Africa at that time.

Not to mention justifying your own unprovoked violence by pointing out the violence of others is circular logic.
#189 to #158 - schnizel (03/11/2014) [-]
The motive is conquest for land and money, resource and to build their own settlements. It's sides in life, not who is good or bad in life.
Well, did you know that in South Africa the tribes there didn't know what a wheel was?

As far as I figure it, anybody should be able to do whatever they want as long as it's consensual and doesn't hurt other people or get in the way of them pursuing their own rights. If you want to smoke a blunt while screwing a tranny in a diaper then go ahead, as long as the tranny agreed.

Not at all. I support strict environmental regulations and a small, domestic, defensive military, I'm Atheist, and I don't plan to marry. Any one of those things wouldn't get me elected, but all of them guarantee I wouldn't even be considered for running.

It's not, but libertarianism will probably never gain root in the US, because the LP and Green Party spend more time arguing amongst themselves than dealing with the major parties that are extremely more dissimilar to them than each other.
