It's actually not the worst option out there. It's better to hold the guns between the legs, so you can aim, but the general position is decent for when there's no cover, and is used in real life. Basically, it allows you to absorb shots with your less-vital legs and ass, rather than your torso although, there's still a very real chance of bleeding to death no matter where you get shot, despite how badasses on TV like to shrug off "flesh wounds" .
Funfact: This was actually done on a map in a competitive tournament once. I can't remember any names, but sadly the shot was disqualified after the match because the shooter could see through sections of the map marked as no-collide. It was on one of the newer CS:GO only maps I think and it was on top of a truck and two other players.
I think you're talking about Fnatic during the cologne tournament. They utilized a dirty glitch that allowed them to see from CT spawn up to playground and sewer on overpass.
It's when faulty code leaves behind something you can stand on despite it not supposed to be there. In this case, the dude he was standing on to peek over the wall was standing on an invisible ladder.
You won't get banned for using one in matchmaking or anything like that, but professional tournaments, including the one this happened in, have rules specifically against it.
I honestly like this more than most of your regular comics. I'm not sure if it's because the artstyle's better or because the walking tits aren't in this one, but keep it up.
What? I thought roast was to diss someone in a humorous manner. To make a joke at someone's expense. It sure as hell isn't "being severely criticized or reprimanded".
Roast means exactly that definition. The only reason you think the criticism has to be humorous is because the most severe criticisms have poetic devices used to portray the intensity of the criticisms.
He got criticized on his artistic ability severely through a joke; roasted
How dare you stoopid American мудак don't talk about сука ниггер ever сука again задницу because что ебать я печатаю эти гайки смешно сука крестьянского педик
Oh man I remember one guy wielding a two handed sword jumping in the middle of us swinging like crazy and cutting us down. I thought it was supposed to be the newbie sever too,
Smurf obviously.
Theres always atleast one on the new players servers.
They are the reason many players dont play the game either beacause of bad first impressions.
Well good for you my friend i have the solution.
Im not going to write a whole poem so ill give you the short one.
Game didnt run the best so the community ****** around and eventually they found out that they can modify the .ini file that contained basically all the settings.
Light shafts, bloom, texture and model quality, animations etc
So when the winter sale comes you could possibly buy it and **** around with the game files.
Here are two guides on doing so. forums.tornbanner.com/showthread.php/17400-Tweak-Engine-ini-Tweaks-with-explanations steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=515926008
Quick note before finding out about this i could not reach above 50 FPS and now i usually run around 50 - 75 FPS but i dont have everything completely lowered either, so i could reach more FPS if i wanted to.
To be able to get gud, you need to have a better screen with better response time, beastly innernet, a gaming mouse with DPI ranges and a god damn good headset especially after the sound changes.
You need some god damn Special ops, green alpha team beret air service task force 2 reaction time or else you're toast, you need to be able to prefire and you need tolerance to the idiots that think that they should be the leader because they're top fragging even though we're losing. You need to be able to prefire accurately, know your smoke, flash and grenade throws.
mfw i was playing deathmatch and this guy who was speaking russian was killing everyone.
all of them were headshots not one was a bodyshot
and he did it so fast in a split second too
It's fun, I have 1000 hours total and about 300-500 in comp alone.
It's fun IF you have at least one friend to go in with, otherwise solo queue sucks because you usually have 4 teammates who are constantly mad until you reach above mge-dmg.
I agree, I got to MG rank and deranked faster than you can say " ******** " because of bad teammates. In the past three days, one game with a hacker on the other team, one game I had derankers, and the following was cry babies.
Hey bro, not to be a dick, don't blame your teammates for deranking.
Only blame yourself, even if your teammates did garbage or purposely threw. That's the only way to get better, dude.
oh yeah not to mention the people yelling at you when you are not even doing anything wrong
thank god i found a mute command for that
even a mute text chat too
You don't need console commands for this. You can just open up the scoreboard, right click on the person and mute communications. It will block voice and texts from them.
I only play on my alt account (which is MGE, my main is LE) so I don't give a **** even if I'm solo queue.
They do **** on you (especially lower ranks) for anything that goes wrong, but just block it out, **** with them back, make jokes and just be cool.
You'll play better if you keep a level head regardless of how your team acts.
Yea, we can play comp but you need a full team to do it with people that are 3 ranks or lower than you.
I'm an mge on my alt so you're unranked aka like 20 levels lower idfk but yea.
Solo-que is fine if you're a player who entries and pretty much just fraghunts. If you're someone who focuses more on teamwork you're gonna get a lot of **** flung at you.
You know. I'd actually take Battle-scarred over Factory New. Mostly because it makes it look better 85% of the time. And it's been -used- so you're not a giant pussy.
No... What? You get a 'quality' of a skin. From Factory New, to Battle Scarred, depending it will have either absolutely nothing wrong with it(Appearance wise) or have scratches and chipped paint and stuff.
I just played CS:GO for the first time the other day, and that is exactly how I feel.
People shoot you before they themselves even register you are there. They remember maps and just auto shoot everytime they walk around the corner...perfectly at the head...it's insane!
first shot accuracy is actually the best in GO apparently except that bursting is so much more innacurate compared to 1.6 because 1.6 had like no RNG for the first 3 shots but GO just immediately ***** you with the randomness after the first shot. There was a chart on reddit explaining all this **** a few days ago but I'm too lazy to find it
There was a glitch in 1.6 that gave you near perfect first shot, I'm referring to that as well.
I saved the chart on reddit.
I agree with you. Bursting is too weak and spraying is far too strong in GO. I'm not one of those people that pretend 1.6 was the perfect game, but I do wish they'd go back to the older mechanics as far as burst/spray goes.
it's sad that the devs have no idea what they are doing and want to make GO completely different from 1.6 even though nobody would complain if GO was 1.6 with better graphics.
Well yeah, I expect any game with firearms to have reduced accuracy past X feet. However, if it's anything like CS:S, the Silenced M4 will not hit target while aimed center of mass from 15+ feet away. Which is ******** .
Well, it would depend on quite a few factors. Where your target is, are your just holding the trigger down, or are you bursting, semi-autoing it. So on so forth.
However, 15ft away. A silenced M4 will not miss it's target when aimed at center of mass. Even if it's full auto.
The worst part is everyone says that CoD is worse... I'd much rather play CoD over CS:GO because the accuracy is better on the weapons. And it rewards it so much more than CS. CS a headshot isn't a kill 100% of the time because of helmets or you're using an AWP or Scout. Which is even more ******** .
I was refering to the p250 and the tec9 and a deagle will OHK if you're not balls far away.
Also you dont have to like CS if you like COD then like it. CS does have quickscopes tho but in GO they nerfed it to be fully accurate in about a half second.
If you played comp then you most likely encountered a smurf, otherwise just good players. I started out at the bottom and ended up LEM ( 2 ranks before the top ) and Silver to MGE (the double ak rank) isn't much skill difference but when you hit DMG (badge rank) it's a WHOLE new ball game. Best way I could give a comparison is Basic training in the military, they weed out the weak and keep the best well if you make it to and/or out of DMG then you're part of the cool guys and are going to have plenty of fun. I myself got to the point where I prefire and hit some shots that I have to stop playing for like a minute and wonder wtf did I just do. But at LEM I just hit a wall and can't improve because my **** wont reg or I their reaction time is way too great.
It's a game with a pretty sharp learning curve when you're new. Even if you're used to FPS you have to drop a lot of habits you've learned from other ones before you can be good at it.
"taking it too seriously" varies by definition. There are people who have a few thousand hours in it and consider it a casual hobby and others who have 500-800 and rage at every little thing that goes wrong.
Well, if you're playing on a "noobie" server to prey on newcomers because you can't compete at a higher level, I'd consider that taking it too seriously. Because you don't enjoy playing with people at your level.
Usually that is a ping issue, or you just not being attentive , i e bad game sense. It makes sense for a comp fps to have a wallbang mechanic. As long as its not overblown. I honestly think csgo is perfectly balanced right now. Except for the 64 tick comp servers.
How was that a bug? I recorded that today btw. I I shot at his head that was partially obscured by the wall, bullet went through the corner of the building and into his head.
Ah, they change it up all the time. They change the bullets mechanics more than the actual surface mechanics from patche notes I've read. Legendary eagle, was lem. Recently lost rank.
