When I was a kid 13 I was baptised in a horse trough and hose water.
It was very much, 'it doesn't matter how, just BE baptised."

Nope. Bioshock is an amazing game. Infinite is a good game with a good story.

Nothing amazing about it.

Bioshock as a whole is an amazing series. You just don't get that degree of storytelling in FPS's anymore.

Far Cry 3

Far cry is great as well, but Bioshock's level of storytelling can hold it's own against any other genre because it's so damn great.

lol, at one of the young adult services at my church, this girl was baptizing this guy (anyone can baptize at this church) and she held him under for 20 seconds, saying "gotta make sure i 'm thorough with this one..."

this reminds me of a baptism at my church last year - one of the junior pastors was performing them at our service (multiple services at the same time, it's a pretty large church) and his son came up to be baptized and the pastor put his son's head on the bottom of the tank before bringing him back up. he then proceeded to hold him up lion king style

User avatar #6 to #2 - AdmiralSuperman (11/26/2013) [-]
Also a priest can just bless the body of water before hand.

The Catholic Church I go to baptizes and confirms people in the reflecting pool outside the church's front door.

There are some who do though. A baptist church I went to with friends did their baptisms in the Pee Dee river when it was warm. Those were always fun to go to.

No. In most religions it is not meant to be an actual purge of sins, rather, it is just an outward demonstration of the putting away of the old man and the birth of the new man.
