Absolutely. The wall next to my bed was going between singing heyyeyeayeyea, reciting the declaration of independence, and discussing with itself the meaning of waffles.

I'm thinking of call a psychologist to speak to it.

That is the funniest ******* thing I've ever seen.
He comes in so fast with a look of pure determination, he looks like he's blowing before he even gets to the table, brimming with anticipation he achieves his goal and is gone like the wind.
I don't think I've ever laughed that hard at a little girls' hopes and dreams being shattered.

User avatar #21 to #20 - mitchr (10/06/2013) [-]
Ah. Haven't seen/played/read/whatever Fate/Stay Night. Would you please tell me what it is about, what version is best, and where I can read/watch/play it?
Play because I'm not sure wtf you call going through a visual novel, anyways.
#25 to #21 - lesterthered (10/06/2013) [-]
umm it was one of the animes i watched when i first got into them, so its been a while. General idea is that mythical heroes from history get summoned by a group of mages in present day, and they try to kill each other in a game to get control over something, i forget what tho. I really did enjoy the series tho.
User avatar #22 to #21 - oilcookedsolanacea (10/06/2013) [-]
You could probably yarr it somewhere easily, though it's long.
User avatar #23 to #22 - mitchr (10/06/2013) [-]
I have heard it is very long, though I prefer to stream and not torrent something if I can help it. Unless you mean the visual novel is best, in which case I may have to eventually do so.
User avatar #24 to #23 - oilcookedsolanacea (10/06/2013) [-]
The VN is very long, yes. The anime is only about 24 episodes if I remember, and not all that good in comparison.
User avatar #26 to #24 - mitchr (10/06/2013) [-]
Very well. I'll eventually get that somehow or other. Thanks.
#44 to #26 - markedone (10/06/2013) [-]
Here's a pic, just to realize how long the visual novel actually is...and I'm a rather quick reader.
User avatar #46 to #44 - mitchr (10/06/2013) [-]
Mother of god.

How fast a reader? I'm a fast reader as well, might as well compare.
User avatar #55 to #46 - markedone (10/06/2013) [-]
I think I read around 500 words per minute...at least thats what came out in a speed reading test I made one or two years ago.
User avatar #63 to #55 - mitchr (10/06/2013) [-]
Ah. I am a very fast reader; no idea in numbers, but I read the Deathly Hallows in 7, 8 hours straight.
That was when it came out; I probably read a bit faster now.

Reminds me of the time when my cat walked into our neighbors yard and couldn't understand why this fence was blocking her way. She walked up and down the length of the fence while meowing frantically.
I had to hop the fence and walk out of the yard - the exact direction she took to enter the yard, to get her to follow me home.

>Corgis aren't smart
We have two corgis and both of them love to chase a laser pointer. The older one's four years old and she's figured out that not only does something create the red dot, but she knows where we keep it. She's also figured out that when one of us is putting our shoes on, it means we're going outside.

The younger one's only four months old. The only thing he's learned is his name.
