As far as I care, car games have pretty much reached the apex of where they can go with the graphical quality of their cars.
All that's left now is to improve on the physics, particles, and other assorted effects.

From this picture specifically the paint texture could be better and so could the plants in the back, also the skybox could be better. Also reflections for the chrome, and most reflections for mirrors on these games could be better.
