Just a few answers to some of the questions people were commenting the other day:

“Why is this posted in the animemanga channel?”

Just pure accident, I post in the channel around 4/5 times a day, I must’ve done it subconsciously or something.

“Why wasn’t hankhillofthe included in the OC comic makers section?”

Well the main reason being he doesn’t make comics. I would’ve loved to include all OC makers in the question but then I would’ve had a range of answers which was too wide.

“Why isn’t (name of OC comic maker) included?”

If I included every OC comic maker in the options it would’ve taken too long. I only included a few comic makers as options because I thought those would’ve been fairly popular choices, anyone else could’ve been added in the ‘other’ option.

Quick info:

Quite a few answers had "Other" as an option and of course, as expected, people put stupid answers in which is why it took so long to compile the data. The reason why there are different totals for each question is the same, I took out all fake answers. There are also varying totals for answers without an "other" option and that's because when I was copying answers to another spreadsheet it sometimes messed up, that and I had alot of responses coming in too. Lastly, I'll be comparing the results to the 2013 FJ demographics done by Beren, the 2013 FJ demographics done by anonymous and the 2014 FJ demographics by peanutbitter, god bless his diarrhea filled soul.

Overall I had 3807 responses so thanks for that, unfortunately I didn't use the last 10 or so responses, sorry to those people

2013 (Beren): 77.9% Male, 22.1% Female
2014: 86.1% Male, 11.9% Female, 2% Other
2015: 92% Male, 7% Female, 1% Other

2014: 18-20 (Peanutbitter didn't do an average so this is more of a guess

Weirdest/Funniest answers I got: A toaster, 2 tri-gendered pyroxes, a fox, an ethnic sand lesbian, pepe, a plant-wolf kin, caramel white, about 10 ghosts and aliens and even a ghost-alien byproduct, a pony, a potato skin, a pillar man, a planet-kin, a raptor, a meat popsicle, a dragon pretending to be a cis white male, a couple of ************ , a dragon pretending to be a cis white male, a half bread and a battle ship.

The question pretty much became who is your favourite oc maker because alot of people wanted to include people like hankhillofthe. Although alot of people still gave an answer, there weren't as many as in other questions because most didn't know names, some even gave me answers saying "the nipple guy" and "the slime girl who draws nice porn".

Overall summary of the demographics: There are increasingly less females on here, FJ got whiter and more religious, and almost everybody loves Admin.

Real quick theory:
I am a girl. I've been an FJer for a while. Way too long. Like since back when it had flash games long. So obviously this is my home and online family.

But I gotta say, the last few years since the rise of new wave feminism and SJWs, this site often gets extremely hostile towards women. And I get it because I despise what the feminists bitch over and all the SJWs' ******** . But even just women, girlfriends, relationships, etc. in general are ridiculed here and there's a general attitude of cynicism towards relationships and how all women are crazy. I consider myself to have very thick skin (because seriously, lighten the **** up), but even still, seeing that **** every day kinda leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

So that's my theory on why the female population is decreasing here. I won't leave because other sites just don't get the ******** like you guys do. And you make me laugh. But it's a theory. And it would apply to the black users too, with the BLM movement and SJWs.

FJ is very hostile towards women, it really isn't hard to see. The only way that I can possibly think that anyone would believe we aren't hostile towards women is either complete ignorance or complete denial. And you can see why, with our major demographic being young white males going through the biggest transition of life, the late teens and early 20's.

We blow up our OC comic makers with blind praise and then subsequently with blind hate. Our obsession with being the devil's advocate and the fact that people with negative opinions speak much louder than those with positive makes us feel the need to incessantly troll any female OC maker, especially if they make content that is in any way remotely sexual or could be interpreted as sexual.

Girls who use their face as their profile picture or that make comments like yours that denote their gender is also a big no-no for people. It's that old 4chan habit, "tits or gtfo". People think that just because some girls use their gender to get attention that it's okay to be a douche to every girl that lets on what they are.

As much as gender issues are NO FUN TO TALK ABOUT ANYMORE, this is one we have to accept - FJ treats women poorly.

I'm an OC Maker, that not only shows my face in everything that I make, but is constantly showing myself naked. Granted it's censored, but I seem to remember a day in February where it was very not. And do people run me out for being an attention whore? Do I get lambasted with blind hatred? No. And it's not because I'm more entertaining or some ******** , it's because I'm male so no one thinks anything of it.

When girls post nudes, they can't go anywhere on FJ without someone calling them a slut.

When I posted nudes, people had a good laugh over it.

A dialogue about gender issues on FunnyJunk has been made infinitely undoable by the current state of the internet, but hopefully it starts to die out and more people come to this realization on their own.

We're a bunch of horny hormonally charged young'uns and we care WAY too much about girls on FJ.

I have to plead guilty, I have misbehaved just the same as you described. (Probably some of my older comments on here) I did it because I was (still am, but now I am not hostile) seeking attention/words with the opposite gender. It took a bit of time to see that in, and I have hurt some girls (mainly on fjpartychat). Now I regret and the damage's already been done.

So folks don't talk trash about the opposite gender. We have got differences and the best you can do is life with it. It's very simple to press next instead of attacking someone in the comments.
