I think it's the fact that I am jealous of people with long hair that looks good cause my long hair looks greasy. And it probably is greasy, but that isn't the point

You know it's entirely possible to have long hair AND look professional right? It's downright discrimination if that is the only reason someone doesn't hire you. Unless you give them other reasons not to hire you, the length of your hair is inconsequential.

You said you "grew up" yet here you are calling people immature for liking a hairstyle.

and i didn't say they were immature, i'm just getting towards the fact that, you need to sort it out, last year i had a shoddy job at Maccy D's and now i have my own property and fairly nice car and it just shows, if you sort of smarten up, it can make quite a difference, it gives you much more of an appeal, you don't look like you are still at primary school wanting to be the cool kid with long wavey hair so all the girls swoon at you

"i await red thumbs by all the 14 year olds and dead end job greebs"- that implies immaturity.

My point still stands though. You CAN look professional with long hair. It is entirely possible to get a well paying job.

Also, it depends what you call professional, i doubt you are someone to say that people are professional, unless you hire people for a company with good expectations and have a world wide imprint on the world, because if so, you would know about the policies of billion dollar/pound companies

You can imply all you want, still doesn't mean that i am calling people immature

It also depends on what you call a well paying job aswell i suppose, i don't call under £45,000 a well paying job, because you aren't well off

I don't imply. Your words imply. If you don't speak specifically enough to get your point across, that isn't my fault.

The more you talk the more condescending you sound. I get it. You have a good job.

Your original post was clearly inflammatory. I stated an opinion about the look of a hairstyle, and brought jobs and age and maturity into the mix. You've made your point I've made mine. There's no reason for this conversation to continue.

I am the most immature person you will ever meet, and thats why i said that i wasn't calling anyone immature, its more that, you know, straighten up, clean yourself up and dress smart, that means get rid of the messy long hair or clean long hair because it don't fit, doesn't mean your character has to change, but small things can get you a long way!

Yeah, but the problem is, companies do discriminate, big time, i work along side the part of the company that hires people and they don't hire people if they are overweight, have long hair, aren't molded into this perfect looking businessman and it happens everywhere in the UK here, when i get outsourced to other companies that work along side with our company, they do it too, its ridiculous, but its the truth, if you want to be in a well payed job, they expect you to be the perfect person so that you fit their high standards of work, so yes, i traded in my mc donalds job of 2 years for this job, i applied for thousands of jobs for months and got fit, cut the hair and changed no way in my personality sense and the attitude to my interviews and within the next following weeks i got job offers from London, Norwich, Manchester and it really makes the difference and it does enter you into an adult life ready to start making big life decisions

How is this first world in any shape or form? Wouldn't logic dictate that more people in the third world have long hair because of lack of money or instruments to cut it, and as such confront this situation more often?

The point of the FWP meme is not any small problem that is not a problem at all, but rather problems that are brought about because of the wealth that we enjoy by living in these countries, day and age.

It's first world because it's just a hair but it'll become a big deal and be really frustrating, more than it should, and so much concentration will be put into it, while in a third world they wouldn't mind so much because they aren't used to their hair being neat and out of the way, it's just not that big of a deal there, I doubt it's even given three seconds of thought.
