I boy was shot when he answered the door - by a cop.

Why? He was holding a Wii remote in his hand.
#37 to #36 - creepyfapper (02/27/2014) [-]
oh, wow.
User avatar #38 to #37 - beautifull (02/27/2014) [-]
Yeah he died... he was in the boy scouts or some **** , wanted to join the army when he graduated (he was one year off) There was a knock at the door, he asked who it was, they didn't reply, he walked over to the door and opened it while holding the remote only to be shot.
User avatar #47 to #38 - mutzaki (02/27/2014) [-]
What happened to the cop that shot him? Was there any reason to believe that the people in the house could've were armed?
User avatar #48 to #47 - beautifull (02/27/2014) [-]
Cops were let off and the NYPD (I believe) refused to comment and defends it's officers... I'll find a link for you. I'm also sure there was no reason to believe there was an armed person within the house...
#49 to #48 - mutzaki (02/27/2014) [-]
Do I have to cut a bitch?
I'm all mad now.
User avatar #50 to #49 - beautifull (02/27/2014) [-]
Ah yeah, here we go, apparently the officer that shot the kid wept afterwards so it doesn't seem to be a merciless killing rather than a trigger happy cop. They were there to serve a warrant to his father for a probation violation. He was shot point blank rage in the chest so i'm not sure why they had their guns out before the door was open...

Not to be "that guy", but I wonder what would have happened if the cop who shot him were a man.
User avatar #52 to #51 - beautifull (02/27/2014) [-]
I'm not aware in any differences with treatment when cops do bad **** to be honest, any examples?
User avatar #54 to #52 - mutzaki (02/27/2014) [-]
Nope, I have no examples. Just in general, I only ever hear of male cops doing horrible **** . I know it's mainly because of the ratio between male and female officers, but it could also be because of special treatment. I mean, in general, women tend to get away with more crimes, so it wouldn't surprise me if a man wouldn't have received an equal amount of "understanding."
User avatar #66 to #54 - hashtronaut (02/27/2014) [-]
Man, ok check this out...when I was in middle school the cop they assigned to that school was a regular G.I. Jane HBIC type chick... well long story short she had accused me of drinking at school and ..I hadn't been. even called my dad and said they were just going to send me home because "they know i'm lying" and tried to avoid the breathalyzer test until he pretty much DEMANDED it... I blew 0.00 and got sent back to class and like 10 min later she comes back takes me out of class and tries to STILL get me to admit it like i cheated her test.

obviously a little different than getting shot in the chest trying to play some virtual tennis, but yeah.

for the record my honest opinion is the Police are nothing but a big gang of thugs working for the better interest of those in charge...they don't represent the common people nor do they protect them.

Similar story, I was accused of smoking in the boys room in middle school because I was taking a leak in the urinal near the window and the window was open. Wasn't by a cop, but it was by a teacher who threatened to call the cops unless I stopped "lying about what I did". First of all I don't know why she was looking into the boys room to watch me take a leak... and second of all I've never smoked anything and didn't smell like cigarette or pot or anything...
I gotta say, it sucks to be a guy when you are a middleschool/highschooler. You could be on your best behavior, say and do all the right things, and still be called a liar because of the stereotypes surrounding you.
The teacher recieved no questioning as to what she was doing peeping into the boys bathroom. But I was questioned repeatedly by the teacher and principal, they even questioned my friends about if I was a smoker. I also recieved no apology when they finally realized how wrong they were
User avatar #72 to #71 - hashtronaut (02/27/2014) [-]
She wanted the D. (dude..duuude.. i tried to google a related story, so i googled "teacher caught with student in school bathroom" and the story that came up? a teacher caught her KINDERGARTENERS (that's 5 years old..) ******* in the bathroom

but yeah, i was caught in the middle cause i WOULD get accused of **** all the time but, i did half of it lol
User avatar #74 to #72 - gardenmanly (02/27/2014) [-]
Jeeze... and I never even kissed a girl until I was 16...

I just can't believe that even after blowing a 0.00, she STILL thought you were lying. Does she have that little faith in the accuracy of the device she was going to use to prove you wrong?
User avatar #75 to #74 - hashtronaut (02/27/2014) [-]
She wasn't even going to get the test out, because.. she wanted to be right ; even if she was wrong.

I've always had encounters with cops though. Came from two bikers, so you know how that goes lol

And to be fair, I mean.. I first sunk a battleship (because "popped my cherry" just sounds gay) actually.. also in middle school eventful couple years but.. kindergarten? i was finger painting not finger banging.

When i was in year seven i was recreating a scene from Fawlty Towers where John Cleese does the Nazi salute and marches around because it was funny and a teacher saw me and got me suspended for a week and threatened to have me "Legally branded as a racist for the rest of my life"
User avatar #55 to #54 - beautifull (02/27/2014) [-]
To be honest I really don't think it makes a difference, cops in general don't report other cops for doing ****** up **** , they protect a female cop like they would a male. It's more of a Cop-Cop thing rather than giving preferential treatment to the woman
User avatar #59 to #55 - mutzaki (02/27/2014) [-]

The police were told by the victum, that the culprits who had assaulted her had barricaded themselves in the building

You need to login to view this link

So it's not really their fault, but I don't understand why it took them 6 hours to get a swat team (I guess they didn't really want a swat team for an assault case)
