User avatar #63 to #43 - Visual (01/11/2016) [-]
Imagine the common house cat purr with common house cat lung size

Now times that by around 10 and this is what you get

big cats are still cats
User avatar #18 to #11 - derpwolf (01/11/2016) [-]
The only difference between big cats and small cats is that the five official big cats (tiger, lion, jaguar, leopard, and snow leopard) can roar.
#42 to #18 - wiiugilgamesh (01/11/2016) [-]
Snow leopards can't roar though. The physiology of their throats doesn't allow it. Alternatively, they can still make a different non-aggressive puffing sound called a "chuff."

User avatar #59 to #42 - derpwolf (01/11/2016) [-]
Huh, you're right. Where I checked it said snow leopards were considered big cats. Thanks for the correction.
#45 to #18 - anon (01/11/2016) [-]
where do cougers, bobcats, cheetahs, and panthers fit in aren't they big cats?
#69 to #45 - luluwho ONLINE (01/11/2016) [-]
Bobcats and Wildcats are really nicknames for Lynx and we have them in KY, they don't make noise tho. At least not like the others do.
User avatar #58 to #45 - derpwolf (01/11/2016) [-]
They're unofficial big cats, essentially. Large in size, but not fitting in with the standard categorization.

Did I just watch a leopard pet the hand that pets him?
User avatar #16 to #13 - charak ONLINE (01/10/2016) [-]

Kinda like seeing wolves play with someone, they're killing machines, cold, and calculating, and then you see them fall over in the snow, panting like a Golden Retriever.

Best boss in the entire game.
User avatar #27 to #25 - papagascoigne (01/11/2016) [-]
or like when a couple puppies fall down a well, and a king combra comforts and protects them, and not once tried to harm them

its a tie for me between Gasc and Gherman
User avatar #29 to #27 - tenaciouslee ONLINE (01/11/2016) [-]
Nature truly is magnificent.

The Hunter fights were a lot better than the beast ones, fighting Gascoigne, Henryk, the Bloody Crow, and the random NPC hunters, they were all great, there should've been more Hunter bosses, even if optional.
User avatar #30 to #29 - papagascoigne (01/11/2016) [-]
ho boy, then you will love the middle boss in the old hunters dlc
User avatar #32 to #30 - tenaciouslee ONLINE (01/11/2016) [-]
Lady Maria?
User avatar #33 to #32 - papagascoigne (01/11/2016) [-]
exactly, her fight was amazing. its fight progression was tops
User avatar #34 to #33 - tenaciouslee ONLINE (01/11/2016) [-]
The fight progression was ******* broken in Bloodborne, it was better in the Old Hunters, but in the base game, there wasn't progression, it was just a moveset switch.

Still love Bloodborne, tho.
User avatar #37 to #34 - papagascoigne (01/11/2016) [-]
true, the only exceptions was, again, the hunter bosses. gasc switched up his style and got more aggressive, and changed into a beast. lady maria built onto her existing move set. Gherman started tapping into his old hunting styles.

i just wish the beast bosses where more like that, they just tended to get more flailing attacks or **** like rom where if you cant break into a full sprint to dodge every projectile, you're dead.

EILEEN IS THE ONE TRUE WAIFU

I would love an "Artorias of the Abyss" style DLC for Eileen.

She's ******* amazing, I love her character to bits and she needs more spotlight.
User avatar #51 to #49 - papagascoigne (01/11/2016) [-]
i want that, and a gascoigne one, and djura one. they all would make amazing stories.

Eileen and her time becoming the best hunter of hunters, and staying that way into her old age

gascoigne coming from a foreign land and making his name in the healing church

djura and his realization that the creatures he use to crush and burn, were once but people
User avatar #52 to #51 - tenaciouslee ONLINE (01/11/2016) [-]
They'd probably only do one if they ever did it, and I don't really know what I'd want more, a Gascoigne "Artorias" DLC or an Eileen "Artorias" DLC.

Man, I just don't know.
User avatar #53 to #52 - papagascoigne (01/11/2016) [-]
miyazaki plz, do them all
User avatar #55 to #53 - tenaciouslee ONLINE (01/11/2016) [-]
Djura doesn't really stir much interest in me, the only one that does is Eileen, because her Crowfeather Garb states that Hunters of Hunters wear the Crowfeather Garb to suggest sky burial, and how they buried their prey with a special native ritual, instead of imposing a blasphemous Yharnam burial upon them, so that perhaps their spirits could find rest in the dream.

And I want to know where she's from to suggest that "sky burial" is native, native to her home.

And Gascoigne stirs interest in me because Father isn't a title in the Healing Church, and is from a far away land, where did he come from? Why did he come to Yharnam? A bunch of reasons, really.
User avatar #57 to #55 - papagascoigne (01/11/2016) [-]
agreed, Djura interests me because of his conviction "if you still choose to hunt them....well... i'll hunt you first". something big must have happened for him to abandon his compatriots, and go against everything he ever knew. its implied that it was the burning of old yharnam, but i feel likes its more then that
User avatar #41 to #37 - tenaciouslee ONLINE (01/11/2016) [-]
That's kinda the reason I didn't like the beast fights, the movesets were impossible to follow, and they were dick-breakingly frustrating as a result, where I could easily fight a Hoonter, because I knew their moves inside and out.
User avatar #50 to #41 - papagascoigne (01/11/2016) [-]
i mean, writting wise that makes sense, you could never predict a wild blood crazy beast lol, but from a gameplay perspective, it just makes it frustrating
