#3 is the 2011 San Fernando Massacre. The gladiator fights were only the tip of the iceberg of what they did to those passengers like throwing kids into vats of acid and forcing the bus drivers to run over people . It's really ****** up.

Oh, just make sure you don't confuse it with the 2010 San Fernando Massacre, also by Los Zetas.

And be careful not to look up the 2012 San Fernando Massacre. And don't even get me started on the 2013 San Fernando Massacre.

The Zetas are hardcore. For Halloween, they killed a few members of a rival cartel, beheaded them, skinned the heads and gouged out the eyes and tongue and turned the now hollow heads into Jack-o-lanterns.
#50 to #34 - jmillenium (05/14/2014) [-]
At least the rival cartel members were rival cartel and killed first. I don't think it's OK to kill anyone but the fact that they were killed and then had horrific things done to them them is a little bit more comforting then what happened to the tortured innocents. They were forced to kill each other and then were sent off to suicide missions. What kind of sub-human ***** are these los zetas bitches.

This one is actually really important for those of you struggling to stay motivated. This is the hardest part of doing anything creative myself, as well.

If you guys are making something, and someone wants to ask about it, try to be super vague, or simply tell them to wait until it's finished. I started making a videogame recently. I showed off a small demo to some folks, they loved it, and I haven't touched it since. I really gotta get that **** together.

So I'm calling you out, whoever has unfinished business: Get your **** together. Go finish it.
#48 to #37 - frankderp (05/14/2014) [-]
That sounds cool, do you have the demo on a filesharing page?
#53 to #48 - nintendoexplain (05/14/2014) [-]
It's entirely controlled by mouse.

Left MB is movement, the farther away you hold it from your character, the faster you run.
Right MB is using the equipped item. (Sword, Magnifying Glass, or Giant Disembodied Hands)
Mouse Wheel Switches Equipped Item

The Magnifying glass isn't fully programmed, but use it to click on stuff to look inside and **** . If you find something, (a key), it'll appear in the bottom left corner of the screen.

Hud shows nothing but health. You can't die, anyway.

#91 to #53 - popnotes (05/14/2014) [-]
Dude, this **** is FUN!

Yeah, it's a Zelda clone, but you have the level and puzzle design down to a science. It's good as hell.

It seems like you have the music sort of down, but if you need help on that I can definitely assist.
#105 to #91 - nintendoexplain (05/16/2014) [-]
Phew, on a computer. Felt kinda rude only saying that I have a composer, but I was on my phone, so.. ehh.

I'm glad you enjoyed it so much. It'll be much less of a Zelda clone eventually. The magnifying glass will sort of turn it into a Zelda/Point 'n Click hybrid. At some point, nearly everything should be clickable with the magnifying glass, giving little blurbs of text. Some of it might be useless like "Books on a shelf" or some **** , but it'll give clues to otherwise-cryptic puzzles and stuff. Think of Samus's scanner in the Metroid Prime games.

#104 to #91 - nintendoexplain (05/15/2014) [-]
That music is placeholder Zelda music, i have a composer for the original score
#52 to #48 - nintendoexplain (05/14/2014) [-]
Yeah, give me a second.

#63 to #54 - frankderp (05/14/2014) [-]
It plays nice, and has a very good 8 bit artstyle

I recomend you to give the player character something to stand out, to make it really unique, like link´s hat

When are you gonna finish it?
#86 to #63 - nintendoexplain (05/14/2014) [-]
I plan to. Game design is what I want to do as a career, but for now, I don't have the time, really. It hasn't left my mind, though. I basically gave the character Sora's hairstyle, from Kingdom Hearts, and goggles. So it stands out a little. But probably not enough, haha. I'll work on it more when I get the chance.
#57 to #54 - nintendoexplain (05/14/2014) [-]
Right now, It's basically a Zelda game. I'm working on making it as original as possible, but the game isn't far enough into dev to look like anything other than the DS Zelda Titles, haha.

Net worth doesn't accurately describe wealth. A man who earns $200k per year but has $500k debt from education fees; that man is wealthy, despite being in huge debt.

Take myself. I'm just finishing my degree this month. In the summer I have a generously paying job lined up which will fund a house purchase almost immediately (I'll save up a deposit in the 3-4 months it takes to purchase a house).

That will still leave me with a mortgage, student debts, credit card debts. It'll be several years before I have more cash+assets than I have debts.

However I consider myself pretty wealthy, with a relatively high standard of living and a fairly expensive car. Certainly in relation to some of my friends who've been earning full time wages for years.

I have been living on institutions because of some mental issues since I was 11 which means I got the rather generous publicly paid pocket-money that have allowed me to save up a little more than 20000DKK over a period of almost 9 years.
I am as of right now unable to hold a job but have yet to be deemed qualified for disability pension Its almost impossible under the new rules if you are under 40, to prevent people from just deciding not to work, which means that I am currently on kontanthjælp and is limited to a fortune of 10000DKK.

If I did not hide the 20000DKK from the authorities I would be required to spend it on living expenses before I would get any kontanthjælp, effectively taxing me over half my fortune for being financially responsible as a teenager.

For any non-Danes reading; Kontanthjælp means "Cashhelp" and is our term for unemployment benefits
