the comment section there is a clear indicator of how ****** up these peoples thought processes are. Apparently if he calls her over and is plastered drunk and she still tries to have sex with him (apparently out of fear because someone mentioned if she said no the drunk man would have became violent(the **** ?)) then it isnt rape. And these people are the ones fighting to decide whats acceptable codes of conducts at colleges. No wonder "men rape so much compared to women" when a woman literally rapes someone by their definition they refuse to acknowledge it as such.
thats literally how the law is written in some states (not sure which) but its pretty much:
"rape is defined as the act of forcefull penetration orally, vaginally or anally as well as forcing others to penetrate orally, vaginally or anally with an object or sexual organ"
so woman jumping on dude? not rape
"As well as forcing others to penetrate orally, vaginally, or anally"
I think that covers forcing someone else to put their dick inside you. It's rape.
sorry, i forgot to write "themselves".
its written that way to make sure that assholes dont just go "oh no, i didnt force my dick in her, i forced her to take it in her herself, so it aint rape".
look it up tho, it seriously is written purposfully so that "riding his dick" is not rape.
"One person drunk and one person sober. both seeming to consent. Do I personally believe its rape. No. I do think its morally sketchy(given the obvious level of his intoxication), but not rape. However, there are many that make the claim that if its the woman who's drunk, consent is negated. Those people are generally feminists. Ms. is a feminist organization. The fact that no one from within the community had any issues with her story shows me that they do not believe the same rule applies for men. That is hypocrisy and that is my issue.
You can not believe consent is negated for one sex but not the other under the same circumstances.
As it is, you may not be criminally liable, but with the passing of California's enthusiastic consent law. It has precedent. You can be held to that standard by your university, lose all your credits, lose your financial aid etc. That is punishment for what we're talking about. And there are those who would see it be criminal law.
All of you can talk about how no penetration took place, but we know penetration is not required for it to be classified as rape. Forced oral is rape under the law. And you can talk about how he initiated and was active, and thus consented, but if we accept as true that intoxication negates consent then it doesn't matter. His apparent consent was invalid and she was morally and legally obligated to not allow it to continue.
Now we can argue whether or not that a good legal standard and it looks like we'd agree that its not. But I'm interested in those folks who only believe that it applies to drunk women.
I realize I'm essentially saying the same thing over and over, but none of you are responding to what I'm saying. You are responding to a strawman of what you think I "really mean".
Lastly someone is not a troll for simply saying something you don't agree with."
"I'm not crying-crying, just crying. Because of her self-empowerment, and empowering others, and also from how f^%$ing funny she is. This speech is so necessary, and I hope it helps young men and young women, or not young men and women, going through that part of their lives where they are just trying to understand how much they are actually worth. Everyone should feel this confident about themselves, and not be ashamed to like who they are.
This is a very positive speech, and that's all that it is. Get it Amy Schumer!"
Everybody saying this was rape.... honestly i don't feel like making drunk decisions entitles you to claim rape, that's like saying if you go out and buy a car while you're wasted you can get a refund.
However we probably shouldn't sell cars to drunk people, and in this case i find it loathsome that she's bitching about how awful the experience was yet she never thought to just leave. If nothing else it's not fair to expect good things in bed out of somebody as wasted as he clearly was, nor is it okay to go and talk about it in public. I can only imagine it's hugely embarrassing for him. Oh, and booze isn't the same as actually drugging someone so they pass out and then doing things to their sleeping body. . I'm just saying in the reverse situation, if it was me and some random drunk girl called me over, and for some reason my first responce wasn't "Hey you're drunk let's not", if she started to fall asleep while giving me head i think i'd just pull up my pants and leave
Well, the point here is that feminists are applauding this and saying it isn't rape, while then also saying that the scenario IS rape if the male and female switch places.
She went over and provided her body - that's not rape.
The guy took initiative at all time and invited her over in the intent of having intercourse.
Shumer - according to her version of the story - assumed an entirely passive role while she was there.
She didn't make him drunk nor encourage him to drink.
When she booty calls me, climbs on top of me and tries to ride my dick and can't get it in and then gives me sloppy oral sex?
I know you are implying it was rape but I totally can't see it.
He consented.
She went over and had sex with an inebriated person who, as far as she states, would never had even touched her while sober. She was in full control of rational thought, he was not even close, as its stated that he fell asleep on multiple occasions. Someone who is capable of rational thought should know better than to have sex with someone that is not capable of rational thought, especially if they know that persons wishes/feelings towards them. Where did it say that she let him do all the work? Had this been a male doing this to a female, it does not matter what you believe, it would have been completely socially acceptable for the female to file rape charges against the male because he did take advantage of her while she was in an inebriated state of mind and he was not.
well thats kind of the point now isnt it. equal is equal and men get the short end of the stick nine out of ten times. legally consent can not be given while intoxicated
Anon you do know the difference between astrology and astronomy, right? There´s no way you´d just open your loud mouth and call people retarded when you have no clue what they´re talking about.
That´d be so pathetic, and I have full trust in you that this is not the case and you´re just a fan of fortune-telling gypsies.
In the ******* comments there are people literally using arguments to say it wasn't rape...that would be used to say it was rape if it was a man doing it.
"She didn't force herself on him"
"He penetrated her, not the other way around"
What in the actual **** is wrong with these people. **** pisses me off to no end.
I don't see nearly enough Teen Titans content for my liking, but when it does come around it's always so sombre and mournful about how good it used to be and how crap it is these days. Honestly... I'd rather have Titans Go than no titans at all, and that's probably what we'd have gotten anyway. Whilst the DC animated universe got more and more integrated here we had Teen Titans which was probably the most standalone DC animated property ever made. That allowed it to really be something unto itself but that's also why we'll probably not get any more of it, because as good as it was (and hot damn it was good), it had no place in their increasingly homogenised universe and especially with current trends in comics I can't see Titans ever getting another full release.
Plus, the show just makes you disappointed at the comics. Like, really. I get that the idea of Starfire in the comics was she was an alien and **** but holy *********** I can't get over how much of a sex object she is. I'm no feminist or anything but it hurts to see a character I was introduced to as being innocent and fun-loving being turned into a character that almost exclusively exists for the sake of getting people's rocks off.
well, its mostly due to his tactical mind and prowess in combat despite being powerless. even so far as to be able to take on the entire team solo in his red x persona. im pretty sure any normal human who can take on a cyborg, a shapshifter, a chick that is literally a spawn of a demon with magic, and a laser throwing flying alien chick with super strength that can fly and come out on top is a sure win to lead that same group
can anyone tell me where to find that porno? im curious. and i had no idea about the amy schumer thing. i always knew there was something about her that i did not like. other than the whole feminist thing i knew there was something about her that was really messed up
