That means your family is adopted.

mfw genetics has very little to do with eye-color. Every time a child is born it's just like a roll of the dice. There has been very little evidence t suggest that eye-color is inherited. Example: Both of my parents have blue eyes but I have brown eyes. I'm not adopted.

They can, if both the parent have 1 of the blue eye genes, and the kid gets each from both parents.

i think what he is trying to say that if each parent has a dominent brown allele call it B and a ressesive blue allele calle it b the their are four options
1) BB (brown eyes)
2) Bb (brown eyes)
3) bB(brown eyes)
4) bb (blue eyes)
as we can see option 4 has 2 ressesive blue alleles so the child has blue eyes

In Breaking Bad; Walt and Skyler both have blue eyes, but Walt Jr. has brown eyes.
Ted the only other white main character with brown eyes.
That can mean only one thing.

I realize this is probably because you can't be picky finding an actor with CP

This is obviously complete ******** , it was written by someone who has no knowledge of genes besides what they were taught in 8th grade or freshman biology. Eye color is not controlled by a basic recessive/dominate gene relationship (BB, Bb, or bb). They teach you that a lot of traits (eye color, hair color, widows peak, tongue rolling) are like this because the reality is much more complicated and can't be understood if you don't first understand the a basic Mendelian relationship. People do not only have brown or blue eyes, there are hundreds of shades in between and even more shades outside of that range like grey, green, or almost completely black. The same goes for the color of your hair. There are almost no traits in a human that can be expressed in a 2x2 punnet square. The only one I can think of in humans is albinism.

Two people with blue eyes can have a brown eyed child, they are just more likely to have a blue eyed child.

As a biology teacher I can confirm that what you are saying is correct.
Except for one small detail that you missed.
His parents aren't the ones with brown eyes, and he isn't the one with blue eyes.
His parents have blue eyes, which is (just like you said) a recessive gene.
So the only way they would have blue eyes is when they would have 'bb' (blue-blue). Since BB & Bb (brown-brown & brown-blue) both give brown eyes as a result.
And since both his parents can only give him 'bb', his eyes should be blue.

Hope this helped!
