Because my upload is so **** and my seedbox recently got mixed up in things, I don't recommend downloading my own collection as i will only be able to seed 5 hours a day max so it'll take 20+ days for anyone to reach 100%
My collection contains mostly ******** so only select the "walls" and "Tolkien" subfolders if you're not into that sort of stuff, 4chan folders are mostly unsorted.

Burning mathematical question here...

How much longer does the rail on the left (outer rail) have to be than the rail on the inside if the curve went on for say, 200 feet to make a 90 degree turn? Assume that the distance between Rail 1 and Rail 2 is 5 feet.
Is it 5pi?
What I'm asking basically is - does the outer length of rail depend on distance between the rails, OR how long the rails go on? How do you find how much longer the outer rail is? Pls.

Assuming the inner rail is your 200 ft curve equaling 90° of rotation, you would use the formula C / d = π ... C = circumference, d = diameter, π = yummy yummy pi

inner rail C = 800 ft (90° * 4 for a full rotation), so
800/d=π
800=d*π
800/π=d
d=254.6 for the inner rail

d(2)=outer rail=d+10 (5 ft wider radius, x2 for diameter), so d(2)=264.6
C(2) / d(2) = π
C(2) = 264.6π = 831.3
831.3 / 4 for the 90° arc = 207.8 ft
Your outer rail would be approximately 7.8 ft longer to complete the same 90° arc

So yeah, the only thing that matters here would be the distance between the two rails... because regardless of the length, the diameter is the only thing that affects differences in arc length right? So another way to think of it would be 10pi/4? 4 coming from a 90 degree turn in the circle... YAY.
