Could not resist not to repost it

What if I told you teleportation had
been invented?
Would you use it?
What if I told you it created a door to
your destination and all you had to
do was step through'?
Would you use it?
What if I told you it wasn' t as simple
as that and that it had to break you
up into all your individual atoms, in
order to transport all of you there,
and then it reconstructed you on the
other side?
Would you use it?
What happens if I told you it didn' t
actually transport your atoms but
rather remade you from the atoms
over there?
Would you use it?
What happens if I told you the
machine worked by first scanning
you and then making an exact clone
of you on the other side and then it
kills you?
Would you use it?
If not, why?
You may say because its not you it' s
transporting/ making, its just a copy,
Its killing the real you.
Well why isn' t it you? Every bit of it is
the same Same thoughts,
memories, looks, DNA, right down to
the very atoms themselves.
You may then say because its not
made of your atoms, its not made of
you, its just a perfect copy. The
memories, the thoughts, the scars,
the scratches everything are just
copies. never experienced or did
the things it did. It happened to a
different body... a different person.
Well what if I told you that after 7
years, every single atom in your
body is replaced?
What if I told you your thoughts and
memories are recorded in the
neurons in your brain similar to the
way a computer stores data as 1 's
and tys and after 7 years all this has
been replaced?
What if I told you that not a single
atom in your body was involved in
your actions from 7 years ago?
What if I told you that not a single
one of your thoughts or memories
older than 7 years is an original?
What if I told you that you are a
copy?
