I smoke cigars, but much prefer a pipe. Pipe tobacco is tremendously smoother, less aftertaste in your mouth, and smells amazing. Plus its usually less harsh and has less tongue bite.

Not really everything in moderation. You don't inhale cigars which cuts down on the carcinogen in take. But it can give you high blood pressure but its usually not an issue since if you are true gentlemen you're sitting in a cigar lounge solving the worlds problems with several like minded individuals.

NEVER let the flame touch the end of the cigar.
Let the heat of the flame ash over the outer edges when first lighting.
Then SLOWLY draw in on the cigar. At a certain point the end may flame up. no homo joke here
Let it go out and you should be good to go. While drawing on your smoke be sure to turn the cigar, this will ensure a good clean burn all around.

1. Most cigars, at least the ones that aren't cheap, smell quite nice.
2. My dad has been smoking cigarettes (which smell much worse than cigars) his entire life, and has had the same job (and wife) for the last 20 years.
3. All of my co-workers smoke cigarettes, and the management doesn't care, and this is a restaurant - the people who handle your food have been chain smoking all day.
4. If you dress nicely and keep your appearance nice, a cigar (again, not a cheap one) can make you look extraordinarily mature, and therefore, more attractive to girls.

punch, romeo y julietta and acid cigars are some of my favorites some cigar shots will let you mix and match one even had score cards so you could rate your cigar and possibly see what you like better.
In the end it's up to you and this is a pretty good guide.
