By the way if anyone is looking for a very specific look for something let me know and I'll see what I have/can find to help with that.
I've been having a tough time finding good pictures for my human Barbarian/Frostrager. So, if you've got stuff that looks like the pic, maybe just like shaman/druid/elemental themed stuff like that, that'd always get my vote.
While badass, that's not it. The Frostrager class is kinda unique in that it's a Barbarian that becomes covered in ice and gets icy punches when he rages. Naturally, it's tough to find art for.
Haha, true. I can't believe I never even thought of him simply not raging. Duh.
Even in that case, though, he's a younger guy without a beard, fair skin and wild white hair, in light/medium armor. Also tough to nab art of, unfortunately.
Been using Asura's Wrath fan art that happened to fit the bill lately.
Yeah, I will likely commission a group pic of the campaign's protagonists, the PCs plus the frostrager NPC and the Rogue's dwarf Cleric cohort NPC. But, right now, I'm broke as a joke. Thanks for the help, though.
I'll see what I can do, I've statted out a frostrager actually because I really like the fluff, sadly haven't had a chance to play them since my games came to a grinding halt due to ******* .
The fact this image has been used (at least) twice on front-page content (along with similar stuff) makes me wonder if FJ is actually becoming more furry/scaly.
Same here everyone is so overly open about their sexual orientation nowdays.
I think normally would be ok but those furry things are not making them seem very sane.
It's debatable as to whether wyverns are just a type of dragon or if they are entirely separate. I agree with the former, but some "um acshully" types will go for the latter.
I think it depends on the 'verse we're talking about.
DnD and Dark Souls will argue that they're a somewhat distant cousin, like the chimpanzee to the human, but slightly less distant.
In others they're simply flying lizards with a poisonous tail-sting.
I don't get it anymore tho.
Wyvern: no wings or unusable wings born as unusable.
shenlong: Asian flying snek.
Dragon 4 limbs + 2 wings
Drake: 2 limbs + 2 paw/wings typicly smaller than a dragon as an adult.
I get that it's all mythical and that the definitions shouldn't matter but it just bothers me that for example "skyrim" envolves all around dragons but they're drakes. Dragon in LoL? Drake 2 limbs + wings on frontpaws.
Dragons with 2 legs were common even in medieval times. That dragons have 4 legs, and wyverns 2, was something that came later in time. A better distinction is that dragons are more powerful and intelligent, while wyverns are "mere animals" if you get what I mean. Wyverns for the most part can't breath fire either.
Otherwise, it is pretty much whatever the creator/artist says it is. A bit annoying, I know.
