This isn't only for museums. The pass lets you get into any National park, art gallery, museum, etc. Basically anything to do with the Canadian culture is free, including places like Ontario Place, which is an amusement park.

Amusement parks with rides are free in America?

" including places like Ontario Place, which is an amusement park."

I did. You just failed to read that far into my comment.

My mistake you said National Parks earlier and I had that on the brain.
User avatar #70 to #39 - faulther (08/15/2014) [-]
Dude..... national parks cost.... i went to Yosemite this summer and had to gladly pay an entrance fee..... Oh yeah went to the Smithsonian in DC too.... paid there as well.... you might not get out much.
User avatar #73 to #70 - MrDeadiron (08/15/2014) [-]
You don't have to pay to get into the Smithsonian, it's a suggestion and that's all.
User avatar #55 to #39 - vikicarus (08/15/2014) [-]
Taking it that you don't consider Yellowstone and all the other (national) parks I visited last year as national parks then?
User avatar #56 to #55 - MrDeadiron (08/15/2014) [-]
I consider parks like Central Park parks.
User avatar #58 to #56 - vikicarus (08/15/2014) [-]
Those are regular parks though, not national parks. You're not only nitpicking what you want to read, but you're also avoiding the truth by misdirection.

My mistake.

I hope I will visit Canada some day. Maybe even stay there. Do you like it there?
User avatar #192 to #71 - Nizmo (08/16/2014) [-]
Canada is awesome. If you visit, make sure to try some poutine and beaver tails.

Czech Republic. The nature here is really nice, beer is awesome, women are pretty but politicians here just ****** up the whole country + there are almost no jobs.
I also like longboarding and I heard Canada have some reeeeally nice roads.
User avatar #15 to #14 - Nizmo (08/15/2014) [-]
Also, this pass lets you bring up to four people with you at one time.

Amerifag here, I mean I'm not an avid museum goer but the handful I have been to have only ever asked for donations instead of charging a flat rate, seeing as how every third comment on this is something a log the lines of "oh museums are free in most European countries"
Example; The Metropolitan Museum of Art in Manhattan.
Also, this card covers a **** load more than museums so idk why people are talkog specifically about that

I'm on the west coast and the amount of Indians moving in is crazy in Surrey. When I lived there it was the first time in my life I've had someone be racist towards me in my own ******* country. There are a bunch of Asians here too but I like them, they're nice, keep to themselves, and have good food.
User avatar #188 to #103 - mrselfdestruct (08/16/2014) [-]
I have noticed that.
The Indians from India. not the other kind tend to live in Surrey.
The Chinese tend to live in Richmond.
And we Filipinos are just spread out anywhere.

You will pay in taxes
User avatar #63 to #61 - toosexyforyou (08/15/2014) [-]
Are all museums paid by the government? Even then, it's fine because Canadians would still be paying for it in taxes even though it's "free."
User avatar #65 to #63 - turtletroll (08/15/2014) [-]
Well either they charge you or its funded by the government ie. you

User avatar #10 - wacemindu (08/15/2014) [-]
Most Museums in the UK are free to enter. Individual Exhibits may charge but largely the museum is free .
User avatar #17 to #10 - saintkarlos (08/15/2014) [-]
this is 100% true im British and i have never had to pay to go to a museum, you can donate to them if you want to but the museum gets its money from the government so they are pretty well funded already
User avatar #12 to #10 - sciencexplain (08/15/2014) [-]
Couldn't believe it was nearly £20 to enter the ******* Westminster Abbey. I would definitely recommend visiting the free churches of London, though. They're great.

User avatar #78 to #10 - enkmaster ONLINE (08/15/2014) [-]
Its not really "free", its government funded via your taxes. You're the one paying either way.
User avatar #196 to #78 - wacemindu (08/16/2014) [-]
Well some are, but to be perfectly honest I don't see that as a bad use of taxes. A lot come from national lottery grants

Most Canadians I met aren't overly polite, but have a certain chill quality to them, they don't get aggravated by unexpected **** like most of us Americans do.

Now the Brits I can say with absolute certainty are assholes 105% of them. :/

We have Jihadist flags up in London, and people enforcing Sharia Law by attacking gays and people who don't conform to Islamic tenets.
