I shed a goddamned tear when he was starring at his fathers name on the war monument. I lost.

Or when his war-disabled friend asked to get him his fire arm omg.

Theres some deep ******* writing in that comic i loved it. Second best webcomic ive ever read

I always forget that while Fry was frozen for 1000 years and gets to have fun adventures,

His family lost their son and never figured out what happened to him. His parents died thinking he died before them.
#262 to #16 - JHDog (05/04/2014) [-]
But I think the point of the scene was to allow Fry to reassure his mother that he's doing fine and is living a self-fulfilling life. That's why she looks at his picture and smiles with a little pride sorry to go all english teacher on you

My mom died suddenly 2.5 years ago. She was only 58, in good health and shouldn't have died. I held her hand as she died. I dream of her often, and she's always consistent in my dreams. Telling me to live life and be the man I need to be. She wouldn't even know me now, so much has changed in me as a man. If only I really could hug her again.

My mom didn't show up in my high school graduation. When I came back home she already packed my things up. She didn't want to go. She was at home the whole time watching South Park. Moved in with my dad and just forgot all about her. She never calls, when I try to call her she hangs up on me and the worst part is that looking back, I had a ****** childhood. She was never proud of me for anything. I won the spelling bee twice, got straight As on math in 6th grade, I skipped 7th grade and was gifted in math but NO recognition of any of my accomplishments. I hate her so much yet I don't want to.

Oh dude..... Don't know what to say, all I can say is, She is Obviously not normal, UNABLE to feel the right feelings about herself, and her children.... That is a form of '' being a psycho somehow '' < Sorry if that was harsh but.... Remember, serial killers are Serial killers because they are unable to feel certain emotions its simply a cord missing inbetween someones brains..... So you must embrace the fact that she is somehow disabled ! if you can do that, you will never get yourself down thinking the past.....

( pic unrelated but psychoactively good )

I almost know that feel, dude. You must be a very strong person in mind and emotions indeed.
All I can say is remember, with solitude comes power, if you are not too shattered to think. That all I'm sure of.

it turned me into a hard edged, bastard constantly wondering why. ive developed a severe fear of abandonment, and i can barely interact with people, and most just throw me aside after i tell them ive had to hunt wild animals with nothing but a knife. cats and dogs included. never in city limits, and never with a collar.

That is amazing ! And hopefully real .... Know that I would take one like you as a friend, not for my entertainment but to LEARN from you... Keep in mind, Maybe you should research on your life, the events you have been through, and when you overcome everything, You shall write a ************* inspirational book about it ! Trust me, that's not a bad idea ^^

<<< And take this, as a gift for your openness about yourself.

Well, I just figured, maybe if you can healthily get over every bit of negativity your past gave you, maybe you should help discouraged / mentally hurt poor people, umm people who had major bad events, looking for recovery, you CAN help ! MAYBE 2girly though for an ex-hunter-gatherer lol Then, you can focus on your book, after got inspired even more and stuff.....
No matter what, keep on roarin' my friend ^^
