Hiya guys! No extras today, or art either. I decided to save the art for later, so you're getting a bunch of comics instead. I'm sure you're all super disappointed. One other quick note: there's going to be some major story development happening in the next few posts, so be sure to stay tuned.

Quick refresher on characters: Cora May (i.e. Hector's ex-love interest) is talking with Leesha, Andy's cousin. Her father (Roy) is Gogo's employer, who hires her as a janitor for all his rental buildings, one of which Andy's mother lives in. Nice how things come together, isn't it? The other person you might not recognize is Didi's girlfriend, and for good reason: she's appeared in exactly zero comics and one art piece before. Abrupt introduction, much? In case you were wondering, her name is Terpsichore, a.k.a. Trips Hickory.

As you can see, this entire small world is developing, which is a good thing because sometime this year this story is supposed to be turned into a stand-alone webcomic rather than a DeviantArt side project! I'm sure I've mentioned that before but I figured now was a good time to bring it up again. So when I run out of stuff to post at least we have something to look forward to. Anyhow, enjoy the comics, and I'll see you all on Wednesday!

Probably means one of the people whose personality seems to be pretty much entirely based around "I'M A LESBIAN!!" Which is fine, I mean, free speech and all that.... but it doesn't make for a great first impression, most of the time.

Well it's been previously established she was gay, when one of Boobear's friends, Hector, tried to ask her out by proxy through Boobear. This is the first time it's been shown in action, though.

Nah, I'm with you on this one. The author basically apologized for it too. It's pretty obvious he's thought about a backstory, but thinking of one and writing a comic about it are two different things.

I sometimes read actual porn (generally vanilla) for the story, so I can safely say that I'm mostly reading this for the plot. Though the art doesn't hurt either.

Do the japs call western animated drawings "caw-toon-u", or "anime"? do they call comics "comicu" or "manga"? my gut tells me both would be acceptable, and i wouldn't be technically wrong to call bomango a manga, only very obnoxious weebism.

Er, I'm slightly biased, but I'd say it's pretty worth your while. It's silly at times, but the underlying story is pretty enjoyable and addresses some pretty thoughtful issues at times. Also refer to the following text and picture for a general overview of the comic.

Here's the description that VanHeist puts up on his Bomango gallery: Please excuse the jumbled and chronologically confused mess. "Bomango" has been a work in progress almost entirely during my stay here on deviantART, and as such, attempts to read it as a single, cohesive story will probably give you an aneurysm.

Inquisitive, well-meaning folks will often ask "What is Bomango? What is Gogo? Where does it all begin? ARE YOU MAD, SIR?!?"

'Bomango' is my ongoing vanity project. While it has no formal beginning, or even basic organization, I've kept working at it, improving it, experimenting, and I won't be stopping anytime soon. I'm working to expand it into a proper narrative, but in the meantime there will be constant messing around here with the sort of things you see before you. A big, fun, weird mess.

Basically, I'm just trying to organize what's there into some semblance of order. For those of you who prefer answers over vague promises of explanations to come, here's my personal quick overview of the characters: Gogo is an unknown entity with mystical and very destructive powers, not the least of which is her good looks (something she's quick to remind anyone who will listen). For reasons unknown, she's taken a liking to Andy (the kid with the long hair). Well, unknown for now, their relationship will develop. They know each other because Andy's uncle (who is waaaay beyond the point of caring about pretty much anything) hired Gogo as a janitor of sorts for his rental buildings (see my 2nd post). Gogo and Didi live in one of said buildings, which is right next to (or possibly a subsection of, not quite sure) Andy's house. Didi, by the way, was the result of Gogo's decision to self-replicate (see posts 1&2). She's pretty much Gogo's opposite, despite technically being a clone. Hector (has shorter hair, kid with the glasses) is Andy's best friend, and remarkably luckless with the ladies.
