Blackmail him

my mom let me stay home from school, because I was sick. We bath agreed not to tell my dad, since
he' s adamant that I never miss even one day of school. A few hours after my mom left for work, he came back
home, with another woman. PML

The other woman is a teacher for the father to get over his nervousness of his son ever missing a day of school.

believe it or not it is possible for one's choice or fetish to change.

Considering all my parents do is scream the **** out of each other? Yeah, I just want them to split. ******* hate my dad, oh you're 8 and you forgot about your homework? Let me pin you against the wall and punch you in the face.
#38 to #28 - CHODYTHEBLAKGUY (10/20/2013) [-]
its not the splitting up part that's bad. its the aftereffects that don't need to happen. your parents don't have to be together for you to know you are loved and have a decent childhood. my parents for instance I couldn't have cared less that they split up the only problem for me was the constant custody battles and having to go up in the court and talk to the lawyers about my mom this my dad that being hounded by questions. it really freaks you out as a child but if they split up and agree to let the child stay in that area whether with the dad or mom to be near his or her friends and still visit the other often with no fights then the child could and would still grow up with a happy childhood
User avatar #41 to #38 - iridium (10/20/2013) [-]
Pretty much this. I had parents who split up when I was 5. I was welcome in both homes and they never got into any real issues regarding custody of me. At its worst there was one or two fights between the two after the divorce, but trust me, they tried everything to repair their marriage and it just didn't work. They would continually fight on a nearly daily basis. Which sounds like a healthier living environment: one where two people who hate eachother have to live together and be bound together due to a mutual affection for a child, or one where custody is split and both parents don't have that perpetual problem continually holding their shell of a once loving relationship together?
#45 to #41 - CHODYTHEBLAKGUY (10/20/2013) [-]
like I had said so long as there are no fighting and custody battles and lawyers and **** brought into it then the child can grow up with a happy childhood. I never said the parent shad to stay together in fact in my last comment I did say that when the parents split up they both agree that the child stay in the house of whoever stays that way the child doesn't have to move to another school make new friends and such while constantly worrying about fighting from parents each one telling the child your dads an asshole your moms a slut that liar will say anything to keep you from me im your dad your my first born son how could I not love you blah blah the list goes on. my parents split for good when I was 7 but they had already split up dozens of times before that and it took them 7 more years to finalize their divorce from each other because of how much they fought. I had to go to a courtroom several times a year until I was 16 when my dad moved to florida with my grandparents because he blew all his money and lost his job due to drinking. that was when the custody battles finally stopped and court granted my mother custody of me my brother and my sister. and by this time she had wasted so much money on lawyers and court fees that she barely had any for us to live in a decent home. ended up because of those fights we would wait until a certain time before we decided if we should get clothes packed to go see our dad. if he didn't show up by 6:30 at the latest he wasn't coming at all. and me being the oldest I had to try unsuccessfully to keep my mother in good shape and happy as well as my brother and sister. who both became angry and my mother became a drug addict and is currently sober thankfully. and after all of this my father still messages me or calls me telling me how sorry he was that my mother was such a whore trying to get into my head when I know he was the reason he cheated on my mother and got another girl pregnant too many times. yes more than once

And it doesn't rule out the family environment either. I know Stepfathers and Stepmothers tend to be portrayed rather negatively in fiction and there are some bad stories of them, but in my experience between my mother's 2 re-marriages since marrying my father and my father's remarriage, as well as the remarriages of nearly every one of my friend's parents, and the re-marriages of other members of my family (grandpa, aunt), I have almost entirely seen loving welcoming families.
