Well well well, if it isn't that time of the year again. The day where you can stuff your big fat face with turkey and mashed potatoes until you hate yourself for the rest of the day, under the pretense of being thankful for what you have, which of course is followed by black friday, where you're thankful for everything that you're about to get yay consumerism .
Actually i can't relate to any of this because we don't celebrate thanksgiving where i'm from. But the local mall is, for some reason, having a black friday sale, so i'm just gonna abuse that the modern capitalism-based holidays has come to scandinavia, which, for me just means a new mechanical keyboard.
Also, something about mentions. Reply if you wanna get more of these comps right in your ******* face whenever i make them.
Dude how is this bragging? What on earth makes you think this is bragging. This is ppl being able to laugh at themselves. They're bringing out some humor about it, that other people can relate to. If that seems like bragging to you, you're the one who's ****** up.
if only u had the ****** brain to realize these are made from all sorts of people pretending to be black like we all dont know they are white n-words who the **** am i kidding ******* (its the holidays)
Yeah, no, this is ******** . Different problems doesn't mean no problems. You can't just sweep white people's problems under the rug because people choose to laugh about theirs.
No one's saying white people don't have problems. Every human being has problems. But there are on 'white problems'. There are problems that white people, being people, have, because in this context we're talking about societal issues, and American society is European in origin, and therefore entirely Caucasian-centric. So if you're anything but 'normal', you have "<insert wtfever but white/straight> problems", and sometimes someone like you making jokes about it is funny.
So don't start showing up defending a denomination that's not being attacked and is so large and deep-seated it doesn't even need to be defended in the first place even if it was being attacked.
hey dum dum hows it feel to have people ignore u when u talk, because yer racism is too boring for the rest of us to even momentarily pay attention to u. i bet u love to be ignored during the holidays
his opinion is so clear, please dont further explain what exactly u meant by that, because you've clearly articulated yer point as far as you can. i could come up with an original way to call u dumb, but u seem to have that under control
dude soooo funnyy and original. how did u ever come up with that original take on such a commonplace stereotype. did u have to lock yer self away in a room for hours and hours to come up with such an original joke.
they're not bragging? they're pointing out fam members that pretty much relate to most families..Its all meant to be laughed at. And dont you act like white people dont have ''dysfunctional'' moments. pic related
Being a minority is highly correlated with lower socioeconomic status. Being poor is what makes things like this. The sad reality is that it is very unlikely for someone to go from lower class to middle class, or "rags to riches" if you will, thus since black people have been poor in recent decades, they continue to be poor on average. They aren't bragging about it, they are bringing it to light with humor.
id rather have it like that than everyone saying **** behind peoples back and being passive aggressive all day, for it then to all blow up after some drinks
im english so we dont celebrate your fake christmas but the latter happens every year on xmas
Self-deprecating humour, because the black youth of our generation know full well that their communities are problem ridden so they make jokes about it to lighten the mood. Like when Louis C.K. makes fun of 40 year old white dudes, it's how he copes with his middle aged lifestyle. Would you rather they not be making those jokes and join the growing "PC" culture everyone on this site complains about?
Because it embodied the frustrations of South Park's largest demographic in a beautiful way through intelligent satire using simple jokes? Sticking to their roots while giving us something currently applicable.
Admittedly, the humor is lost on me. He's painted as a controlling douche, but I've yet to see him get his just desserts.
That I will admit I only saw the first episode that introduced him, and none of the subsequent episodes. You can blame me being too poor for cable and too lazy to torrent for that.
Meh, I kinda wish he was only there for one episode. Having him there as an ongoing character kind of makes the jokes too easy imo, they can basically do whatever they want and put a pc spin on it now and everyone will find it funny. it feels like pandering
All of my other family members are spending thanksgiving in other places so there's only gonna be like 5 people here this year, while 4 years ago we had the entire family in one place, that's like 14 adults, 5 kids, and like 8 teenagers
for many of them those stereotypes are the realities they deal with on a daily basis. That's why many of them get so offended by them because it hits so close to home
