As you are eating the mouse, the wolf jumps at you. The branch breaks, you both fall. You push the wolf off of you and throw it the rest of the mouse. It happily gnaws on the end of your rope.

The wolf runs after the stick, dragging you along. It's so excited it has forgotten to finish eating its mouse!
It stops in front of a floating nose monster. It sniffles in a way that sounds like, "I am the guardian of this cave." There is a door on the wall, and a grate in the ceiling.

The wolf comes out completely covered in snot, it is unsaveable. You decide to wear it as a hat in honor of its memory. It also accidentally got stuck to your head... but you're going with the honorable hat thing. You pull your spear out and climb onto the nose, you give a nudge off the ground with your spear and the nose actually moves! Unfortunately you travel all of 2 feet before running into an invisible wall that was not removed when the telekinetic nose died.
