Voice acting is probably a lot harder than people make it out to be

It's intimidating if anything, not knowing how your voice will sound to other people through the microphone. But after about in hour in it's too easy of work.

That's not really the hard part, the hard part is you have to make your voice sound like it was emotions (I know that might sound easy, but once you have the mic in frount of you it's difficult) you also have to select a voice for a char, a lot of times they won't even show you a char sketch. You have to pick a voice based on a few personality traits.

Voice acting is a lot more than just simply talking. I am also too lazy to type, so just google what real voice actors have to do, and even once they get the job what hey go threw.

I don't have to, I major in Drama/Acting and have been trying to pursue my acting career for 4 years now.

acting on screen is a butt load different than voice acting. The only similarity is they both have the word 'acting' in the job title

The hardest part really was that sometimes you really don't know why you're saying what you're saying, since other people may record their characters lines at other times/days

It also helps if you ask for the full script and they give it to you, most of the time they will

I've done both. Granted, I've done live action MANY more times, but voice acting was more adventurous than hard. The fact that all I had to do was find a characters voice, instead of his voice, actions, movement style, etc. made it much easier to be free once I got the hang of it.

well you must have a nack for voice acting, but most people don't.

So most people would find voice acting one of the most difficult things to do
and so far every person i have worked with is a **** voice actor and have no ******* clue what to do and they learn

they don't learn*
