I know you're quoting Robot Chicken, but it's a pretty big deal when she finds out. In my opinion, it adds an interesting new layer to her character insofar as Clark basically has conclusive proof that she can keep a secret, effectively costing him one of his few remaining excuses to not ask her out.

>Keep referencing universes that aren't the one in question as if it's viable evidence.
Mate, I'm talking about the
specific
one where this comic takes place. If you're going to keep pulling **** from other universes then you might as well pull **** from the Gotham show. You're bound to get conflicting facts because they're all based in different universes. The key word is "different". As in, not the same.
She may have known in this particular comic/universe, but I have no way of knowing that from this cut-off. Superman might just be talking without saying the name, but he'd be painting a very clear picture for a
reporter
to figure out.

You're also glossing over how Superman is saying all this out in the open as people pass by. It'd be different if he were in a disguise where nobody would take notice, but if Superman walks by you, you tend to pay attention.

If Superman walked by me just talking to some woman, I'd assume it was a guy in a costume, especially if I saw him taking the elevator.

Not likely. Especially in Metropolis. Supes and Lois are well known to be involved with each other in most universes(including this one since they're shown together). Not many people can imitate Superman as he's a big guy and just about everyone in Metropolis knows his face. In many universes(likely like this one), it's public knowledge that they are together. Lois is often in front of a camera due to her job so her face is everywhere and so is Superman's. If you saw them, you'd know who they were. Especially since they just ******* landed in front of the door. Your average Joe can't fly.

If I saw who-I-knew-to-be Superman out (presumably on a date) with who-I-know-to-be the woman of his dreams, the least I could do as a thank you for his repeatedly saving my entire species is afford him the same courtesy I'd afford any mortal man in that situation: stay out of his business.

That may be what
you
would do, but I get the feeling you're only saying that to be an augmentative prick. That's still not how everyone else would react. Take a look at real life for example with just about any celebrity. They go anywhere public and they get mobbed by people. It'd only get worse for a guy who saves the whole city pretty much on a daily basis. Most people in the city adore him because of who he is and what he does.

-which is precisely why I'd be polite to him. On top of not wanting to be the 23,654th person to bother him for no real reason, I'd actually owe him my life several times over, albeit indirectly, unlike most celebrities who are ultimately just vapid cunts.

Would you want to go annoy someone you respect while they're out trying to live their life? That seems disrespectful, and by extension, totally illogical. I wouldn't want people getting in my face just because I was famous, so I wouldn't do it to famous people outside of backstage areas or conventions and other places allocated for the purpose of meeting celebrities.

It doesn't appear that he's saving someone's life right now as he's just walking and not flying straight through the walls. You yourself just assumed they were on a date so by your own assumption he's not saving someone. People approach super heroes all the time in comics. Provided they aren't in the middle of a fight, they get approached. The post shows him walking casually with Lois and talking casually. He's not likely on his way to save someone's life as he wouldn't be taking his sweet time.

You keep saying what
you
would do but that's not what everyone does. In a world with super powered people, they get approached by fans/admirers regularly. You don't need to keep telling me what
you
would do. You've already told me three times what you would do. What you would do is irrelevant to what others end up doing. People approach Superman often.

Isn't this all something of a moot point since we see nobody anywhere near him until Batman and Catwoman are right next to them? I'm pretty sure he can notice if he's within earshot of a random civilian.

They land right outside the door and you see people walking right by them. I also doubt that the building they walk into is empty. We don't see the lobby. Only the elevator. If it were in fact a date, that place would probably be packed.

Maybe he chose the spot for the privacy and that's why Bats is there as well? It's all just conjecture on our part without the additional context of the rest of the comic.

Yeah, chooses a public building in the middle of one of the most thriving cities in the world for privacy. When Supes wants privacy, he either takes Lois on top of a random roof, the Fortress of Solitude, or her own damn home.
If Batman wanted privacy, why would he go into a well lit building when he could go to the Batcave, one of the most hidden and secure places on Earth?

I dunno. Maybe the writers are better at contemplative dialogue than they are at setting scenes? I just assume the complete issue frames it in a way that makes sense.

It probably does, but that didn't stop you from referencing entirely different universes.

Because as I just said, the context of this post isn't clear. If you don't know she knows, then you just assume she doesn't. You don't go into every comic and assume everyone knows a characters identity unless it's stated otherwise. Since one assumes she doesn't know, he's just spilling everything out. She doesn't say Bruce's name, but tells her exactly what happened. Tells her he lost his parents as a boy and lived in a mansion. Along with all the other details, that's a very easy trail for a
reporter
to follow. There is likely not many rich guys who lost their parents while young. I imagine a quick google search would pull up Bruce Wayne. Then boom. She figures it out.
I also never said I
knew
she didn't know. Read my words, man. I just assumed she didn't because it was not stated otherwise. You however, were so sure she was based on entirely different universes and tried to cite them as evidence. If you're going to cite other universes as evidence, then I'm going to cite the Flashpoint universe where Bruce dies as a kid and Lois never even knew him. So, if we're going to follow your rules, she doesn't know who he is.

yeah but tbh are there any better romantic options for him in Gotham?
All his female sidekicks are too young, Batwoman is a lesbian, Renee Montoya is a lesbian, Leslie Thompkins is an old lady, and most "normal" civilians wouldn't be able to deal with his double life. There aren't any other female heroes in Gotham that aren't affiliated with Batman, as far as I can remember, so that leaves only supervillains. He picked possibly the only female supervillain in Gotham who isn't evil or insane.

Catwoman and Talia are his most often-recurring love interests, but in the current continuity he and Talia don't seem to be on great terms. Probably because she's legit evil (unlike Catwoman) and can't be trusted. And also she raped him to make Damian
