not to be offending or anything but i think its rather disgusting to change your gender
User avatar #622 to #522 - ultimatebadass (12/11/2013) [-]
like what happens if some wasted dude at the bar goes home with he/she and hes to wasted to tell, I don't care if you're gay or what because that's not a choice, this is and so I don't agree with it at all op if you ever get with a straight drunk guy, you're an asshole

So if you´re fat and want to change that, is it wrong? you want to change the way you feel inside, it's not about who you are, it's about who you feel you are, and if that makes you happy, so be it.

As long as no one is forcing you to do something you don't actually want to, the world is doing great.

you know that saying you are fat and want to lose weight is not a correct parallel. That is pretty much saying if you are thirsty have a glass of water. And you are comparing that to changing your gender. Like a huge physical and biological change to i just want something to eat...I could care less about what gender you are or what gender you want to be or even if you change your gender. I just hat e when people like you want to compare building a Lego house to constructing the great wall of china. I mean seriously any moron can defend his opinion when given an unfair advantage like using an extremely different comparison. If you want to make your argument have the most impact then actually give your opposition its best possible chance and then disprove it. When people like you make a comparison like that i cant help but to imagine how ignorant and self centered you actually are.

I am an egotistic bastard, thanks for noticing.

And I couldn't give a **** about someone changing it's sex.

what I was trying to imply was the fact that if someone is not happy the way they are / look or the gender they were born with is not ok to tell them it's wrong.

If I had a SON who's unhappy because he doesn't feel comfortable being a boy I'd support him, not arguing about anything.

on the other hand, there's this ULTRA religious people telling me "that's wrong" "GOD this, god that..." I'd rather go to HELL knowing my kid is happy, than having a constant remorse wheter he's just fine or suffering.

I'm not saying it's the same, I just wanted to make a point on the "GOD'S IMAGE"

Well you are now attempting to argue with someone who for the most part agrees whith what you were trying to say. What i disagree with now is your opinion of all Christians. What makes you any different from them if you condem all of them for what the ones you have taked to say. If our country can show us anything it can show us that the majority is sometimes judged not by what their actual beliefs are but by what the loudest voices have to say. Not every Christian belongs to Westborrow church and not every christian subscribes to the same beliefes as the other. The one underlying pricible that all christians note is that their Lord and savior Jesus Christ died for them and so that is the only thing you can rightfully judge when looking at the group. And also something i missed in the first reponse is that who you feel you are and who you are will often conflict throughout your intire life. Every time you have a moment that you question your character you are questioning everything that has lead up to you being who you are including your gender.

I'm a christian myself sorry for the comment, it was not intended for all of them.. what I agree on, is the part of your beliefs, not the part of "RELIGION says so" I know what I believe in and why, but I don't like to follow others.

sorry, just wanted to be clear.

no further missundertandings.

if you are fat but dont want to be fat you could just stop eating like a hippo and start to exercise. its all about self dicipline

but wait a second, there are indeed people who can't control, call it brain function or disfunction, and there's the part where your body can't do the normal function like control your own apetite and the way you store fat in your body and we have glandular problems.. then what?

that's the body that god gave you right? deal with it?

if you could change it, if there was a way to HELP you be the way you feel.

Yea, liposuction, people get it done everyday, diet pills, weight loss programs... They have these things because there ARE people who cannot control what they eat etc.. My grade 4 French teacher; she has a son and he has something known as Prader-Willy Syndrome. He literally cannot stop eating, but guess what-He ******* tries to exercise, he eats healthily, he eats a **** ton but it's healthier than eating big macs all day, he hates the body "God" gave him because he's enormous and he was ridiculed for always eating and being so huge as a kid. He's currently roughly 30 years old, probably sitting somewhere around 300-400lbs but he still tries, he is a huge guy with a huge heart who is changing himself because he feels better working at it.

^this guy gets it.

um. some people need to. There are these people known as transgendered. A girl's mind in a guy's body; she is forced to use urinals, forced to dress in guy's clothes, basically forced to be someone she isn't cause she has the wrong body. So they get surgeries so they can have the body they've needed and live a normal, comfortable life.

and my biggest dream is to be an eagle but god made me as his copy and i must respect that.

my point is that you need to respect the body you are born in and no plastic surgery van change that
User avatar #543 to #533 - ixcarnifexxi (12/11/2013) [-]
Just as a side note; if you ever met Neil DeGrasse Tyson and told him you're happy with things cause that's how God made it or that's the way God wanted it; he'd tell you that you're useless because you have no further desire to find out the why's of things or the how's, you just accept it. So, since you accept **** that God does, how bout broadening your perspective and accepting people for who they are and what they do instead of telling them it's dumb cause that's now how God made them or wanted it.

You totally derailed from everything that I was saying before....

i simply do not care about peoples sexualities if they dont flag with it (pride parades) and i dont tell everyone that i think homosexuality is disgusting because i am respectful as hell

Your name is ********** , I think you don't understand what respect means. Jesus christ.
User avatar #713 to #710 - niggernazi (12/12/2013) [-]
uhh, yes i do

You don't understand. K, I'm assuming you're a guy (I am too but I at least am not narrow minded on this thing). Say you like guys, but you wanna be a girl because well, havin a dick isn't doin it for you, you're more comfortable in dresses, skirts, leggings etc... But because of society, you gotta conform and wear guy clothes and do guy stuff and basically pretend to be someone you're not so you don't get labelled. Transgendering surgeries are the only way these people can feel comfortable, not be scared or shy of who they are and just be apart of a functional society instead of being ridiculed for cross dressing or using the wrong restroom.
