Soap Opera Update was a magazine dedicated to the coverage of soap operas, co-founded by Angela Shapiro in 1988,[1] and purchased by Bauer Media Group in 1992. The magazine became popular on newsstands in the mid-1990s. However, due to a lack of subscriptions and promotion, and criticisms for mediocre content and "lazy" press coverage, the magazine was discontinued in late 2002. In 2006, the Update began issuing Soaps in Depth and releasing an annual issue to review the soaps of the past year and preview soaps for the new year.

This magazine also produced the Soap Opera Update Awards, similar to the Soap Opera Digest Awards.

No, actually we are not, we aren't even trying. That's why it's obvious that we could never win, as we are NOT EVEN COMPETING.

There you go, happy now amurica?

Yes, because the match up between the American Football League and the National Football League concerns Europe at all.

A foreign country should never be afraid to be american.

Europe used to have it's own NFL (cleverly named 'NFL Europe'), but it shut down in 2007.

You're not even inviting us. I think many European countries would love to be part of super-bowl

You'll just have to join in the American way. by invading

Im surprised no ones making the link of
Weak american football to strong european rugby
The rules are more unsafe and there is no protection while Americans wear Armour as if they wish to be Spartans going into battle which they are not... and all that happens is they run around safely and scared
User avatar #19 to #18 - muffaletta (02/03/2014) [-]
They may be wearing armor, but the collisions are significantly harder because of them.
User avatar #20 to #19 - phawsy (02/04/2014) [-]
have you seen rugby injuries? a man had his testiicles ripped open by studs on someones shoes.

We wear pads in Football so we don't die. You need to realize there is a difference in toughness and sheer stupidity.
User avatar #37 to #20 - muffaletta (02/04/2014) [-]
I probably can't post them here, but look at the Joe Theisman and Marcus Lattimore injuries.
#25 to #20 - anon (02/04/2014) [-]
Dude, before pads dying was a regular occurrence in football games, and with pads still more people die playing football PER YEAR than die in rugby in 10
User avatar #21 to #20 - muffaletta (02/04/2014) [-]
I'm not saying rugby is intense, but the pads in football allow for more forceful tackles.
User avatar #22 to #21 - muffaletta (02/04/2014) [-]
I'm not saying rugby isn't* intense.

"The rules are more unsafe"

******** . I played rugby in England for eight years and I can recognise which is more dangerous. In rugby a clothesline will see you in the sin-bin or sent off. In US football it's either a yardage penalty or legal depending on the situation. In rugby at kickoffs, the teams line up 10 yards apart and challenge for the ball. In US football, the returner lines up 70 yards from the opposing team and will often be charged into at full speed. American football sees a lot more aggressive jump balls during which you can take a guy out in the air, in rugby that is at least a penalty. Despite the hard helmets etc, american football has far more injuries and concussions. Plus, way more people have died playing US football than have rugby, does that not tell you something?

Think.
