I've done this for years, and I'm surprised a lot of people just eat plain ramen. Putting stuff in it turns it into a cheap and tasty meal. It doesn't even have to be fresh veggies either. Go and buy a pack of frozen mixed vegetables, and just stir fry them in with the ramen. Trust me, totally worth it.

Pic is a veggie ramen I had for dinner recently. It has peppers, onions, spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms, and zucchini. Delicious as ****

You're kind of missing the point that ramen is mostly eaten by people who are too lazy to prepare anything and/or live in a dorm.

i make my own ramen flavours using my myriad of spices in the cupboard.

My favourite ingredients, in various combinations, are salt, chilli flakes, msg, cumin, turmeric, saffron, cayenne pepper garlic, onion powder, cumin, and also various types of premade curry powder mixes.

you can just throw things together and experiment, they absorb flavours so well. it's a good food to learn to cook with spices.

also the beauty of all these spices is, like ramen, they are cheap, dry, and will keep basically forever in your cupboard.

This is the most famous /ck/ post ever, with pic related coming it at a close second.
Also, I've used this guide before and it's pretty good.

Pretty sure that if someone has to result to eating 50 cent noodles, they can't really ******* afford to make it into a 7 star meal.

Shin Ramyun is awesome with a slice of american cheese melted into it after it's cooked.
