Creator of Hellsing, Hirano Kouta, spent most of his time working for other manga authors and artists but never was really able to get his own breakthrough that was until Hellsing where he really hit it off. Unfortunately, Hirano hasn’t really made anything since Hellsing, a lot of people think it’s because he’s afraid to make anything else in case it fails.

Thought so. I tried getting through it and it kind of got boring fast. I remember watching the whole thing and not knowing what the **** happened to the past fee hours of my life.
This will probably get me hung, but if anyone wants to watch it I say just go watch the abridged series. A new episode comes out once a year. It's pretty funny and is about 3/4 through the series right now.

Eh, 13 Ep. +10 for Ultimate (if you want to watch it) makes it a fairly short show, especially if you just passively watch it while doing other things. For however short it is its pretty good and has remained in my top 5 with Cowboy bebop, Afro Samurai, Samurai Champloo, and Black Butler. If you don't feel like watching all of them, like cronos said in >>#30, the Abridge is pretty damn funny and takes a bit of the gory edge off if you're not into that stuff: teamfourstar.com/series/hellsing-ultimate-abridged/

This is for anyone that may have an interest in HS or the thriller/horror/action genres.

I loved Digimon, followed it until it slowly started getting..bad.

And now seeing the 'new' digimon series..it hurts seeing people get excited. the artstyle is different (Yeah, sure, Art changes over time. But it really looks like a Clich'e Anime now. It doesn't have that "Style" about it.)

I'm mostly surprised as to how much money you can make selling the digimon games tho. I made 50$ on a scratched "Not sure if it works" Copy of Digimon world 2003. Could have made an easy 200$ if i could find my monster rancher. The guy was ok with it being broken so we agreed on a price.

Pokemon has a decent monopoly on the monster catching games. Most others survive on cult followings and word of mouth.

Personally, I can't wait for the next dragon quest: Monsters. And to this day I'm disappointed that the Monster rancher games didn't live up to the hype the anime gave it.

For me, my older brothers got me into digimon when i was really young but when I got to the age that they were when they saw the first season, the fifth season was coming out for me, and I loved it. It's my favorite season to date, and i'm pretty sure that it's only because it was the season that I watched week after week, waiting for the next episode, and followed along with the characters. It was so amazing to little me. My sister's season she followed along with was the fourth season, and that's her favorite.

All it is is the nostalgia factor. The 'new' series in my opinion is running purely on old fans' nostalgia. I kinda like it, but I agree it just has an unappealing style now. I don't think that it will attract new fans, just get back some old ones.

The new series is actually getting quite a number of fans into the series. Check up MAL.
The first movie (4 episodes) released around 4 or 5 days ago. It did reasonably well at an average score of 7.8, last time I checked.

For me, only the art style has changed and I'm pretty much okay with it. It's not too different and actually matches up with how highschoolers looked in the first and season of the series.

Like the other comment said, Guy can use chakra it's just he isn't that talented with ninjutsu so he decided to focus on taijutsu. Lee can actually use chakra but just has no talent when using it for ninjutsu.

I know that voice acting is big in japan, and I know that a lot of them are really talented and stuff but...

there is this one thing I don't really get. why does most of the women sound like annoying little ***** ? "myoaoooaa nyaaaaa~~ " like most of the **** doesn't sound like they need any talent for it, and when I try to imitate them I most often succeed in it on the first try, and I'm not a voice talent in any way.
I've been a weeb **** for years, but goddamnit I hate most of the moe/kawaii/kid characters because they sound like a ******* squektoys for dogs.

Most voice actors have their own specialties. For example, Takehito Koyasu is amazing at playing snide pricks, Wakamoto is amazing at playing manly men, Kugimiya is good at playing tsundere characters (albeit it can get annoying having her voice almost every ******* tsundere character ever), Fukuyama Jun is good at playing intelligent/voice of reason characters etc. etc.

I have no idea what you mean by 'imitating', but anyone can say the lines and make the sounds in voice acting, it's just a difference of how well they do it.

Its bares minimal resemblance to hamlet with the only parralelle i can see is with the "King" being killed by his own brother and having the son enact revenge.

Hamlet dies, Simba doesn't.
Hamlet personally kills his uncle by forcing him to drink poison, Scar gets mauled by hyenas like a bitch *****
A lot of people die in hamlet, very few die in the lion king.

etc theres more but i dont remeber the details of hamlet. They both totally see their dads spirt though, thats a thing that happens. The lion king is based on a novel of the same name.
