As I'm sure you found out, Black Knights are one of the few mobs that don't reset when resting at a bonfire, and they follow you much longer then a normal mob will.

oh yes, I know, however doesn't their health reset? I remember I spent an hour fighting the halberd one Finally kicked him off the cliff and he dropped the halberd first try however I would get a hit or two in each time before I died and he didn't die till I kicked him off I was using the great axe with 16 str and 14 dex

Unlike most other foes, Black Knights will not reset to their Spawning Point upon usage of a Bonfire. They also have their entire HP restored, even when they are not reset. They will keep doing what they were doing BEFORE you rested at a Bonfire. In other words, running to a Bonfire and activating it will not save you from a pursuing Black Knight, unlike nearly every other enemy in the game, with the added negative of healing the Knight of any damage you may have already inflicted. Black Knights also seem to pursue more aggressively and for a longer distance than many other foes.

god dammit, there is the one right after the red drake who is stuck at the door up to his tower and down to the shortcut in the undead parish

yep, dodge him until you think you can parry him, parrying them is the easiest way to kill them, for me at least.
User avatar #58 to #57 - instakill (11/08/2013) [-]
I ******* suck at parrying though I'm good at rolling behind enemies
User avatar #59 to #58 - magictheg (11/08/2013) [-]
then do that and backstab. parrying is an aquired skill, it took me forever to figure it out, it comes down to knowing the movesets and when the parry window is, practice on hallow warriors in the undead burg.

oh I can parry them every single time, it's parrying anything else that's a bitch, oh and also I did get past him, I unequipped all my armor and snuck past him don't know if that changes anything but it seemed to right now im trying to kill the gargoyles except there is this asshole who keeps invading me, he has invaded me 3 times today
