So, the daughter of a rich, privileged white celebrity graduated.
Why is that special?

I'm infinitely more impressed when the kid of a poor single person working 3 jobs to put them through college graduates

Mother is a Drug Addict. Father is a Drug addict. Grew up surrounded by crime, drama, divorce, custody battles, and on top of it all grew up with money.

Sounds like the perfect situation to **** a kid up.

Most people who listened to eminem listened to him back when he started up. Which.... well its been a long time. haha.

Eh, it's really not that impressive I suppose. Though it's good to see she hasn't become a complete wreck. It's a matter of what she chooses to do past high school that will really define whether she's a privileged white girl or someone who wishes to do something with herself.

Not sure about anyone else, but my reaction to this was "wow, she's grown up!" Last time I ever heard anything about her she was just a tiny kid. Time flies, man. We're going all old up in this life.

Because people thought she'd be messed up with someone like that for her father.

I thought it was a joke because graduation robes are usually black, but hers are white.

just because he's gay doesn't mean he can't have a 18yo lesbian daughter graduate from elementary school

Most of his songs are about how he wants an ordinary life for them and that he wants a better childhood for her than he had...

but her father grew up in a bad part of detroit, thats why u might think he could be come a bad person. but she grew up with a ******** of money, everything she wanted, went to school, did not have to take jobs...

Just because he's a rapper doesn't mean he's black. Jesus.

If he was black the only father problem there would be is that there is no father.

As far as Eminem being a parent goes, I'd wager he's not so bad. I'm sure he makes mistakes and it's hard to spend a lot of time with her and balance his fame and destructive lifestyle, but if I had to make a wager at the type of father he is, I'd say it's the one who is never home, doesn't get along with Mom, but still makes time to visit at the very least once a fortnight, brings presents, portrays genuine love and concern, and puts in a solid effort as an "away-dad" There's better, but I won't judge such a gentle inadequacy. Considering I haven't seen my dad in just a wee bit under 20years, that's not so bad.

The only thing I know about him being a parent is that when he found out the boyfriend his daughter is dating was raised on his music, he was worried.

I am fairly sure that was an article from The Onion.
