**thehistorylover used "*roll picture*"** **thehistorylover rolled image**I think Aku means evil in Japanese. Is this true? I think I heard the voice actor of Aku say this years ago.
I'm hype as hell for new Samurai Jack but let's face facts... Aku won't be the same without Mako's amazing voice. The poor guy that has to follow up that act has his work cut out for him.
I believe that's from the Snafu comics. They're a collection of... some what bad fanfictions, depending on your opinion, with a comic to support it rather than just text. There's like four or five last I checked, though only two of them are focused on... One being focused on the Power Puff Girls and the other set in a future of Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy which is where this Aku appears... last I checked, at least. It has been years since I went to that site.
I don't recall it having much plot detail, but some of the characters just had a female version of themselves to transform into. Particularly the very powerful beings, such as Aku. Don't recall enough details to remember what happened to Jack in that, though. I recall he's a teacher in the Power Puff Girls one, though.
Went to the site just briefly to get the link... It has definitely changed appearance over the years! Not enough to interest me in starting to read it again, though.
So in Japanese the word for Evil is 悪の Spelled with the kanji for bad 悪 (warui) and の (no), meaning to be of Using that in a sentence, lets say we are talking about evil flowers, just by adding the kanji for flower 華(hana) to the mix with the word for evil, with the world for evil being placed before the kanji for flower since it describes the flower we are talking about we get 悪の華 or "the flower of evil". Since the word for evil has の (no) already in it, it makes it grammatically correct also.
Whats this have to do with anything?
悪の華 would be pronounced as Aku no Hana
悪の by it self would be pronounced Aku no or just plain Aku
The Evil main antagonist in Samurai Jack is named Aku
