Except for the fact they would open you up to liability should your "friendly" dog have a bad day.

You'd have greater liability using the caution one since it can be taken as you acknowledging that you already knew your dog was dangerous. Same reason that you should have a "Dog on Premises" instead of a "Beware of Dog" sign. It's a shame that we're so lawsuit happy that a good idea like this could get you sued.

No. Just No.

If someone gets bit by your dog, AFTER they have seen the leash and/or heard you say something like "Careful, he bites", the liability is on THEM. YOU WARNED THEM.
And if you have a "Beware of Dog" sign ANYWHERE on the front of your house, you CAN NOT be held liable for anything your dog does on YOUR property, because you gave whomever saw the sign a warning of caution.
"Dog on Premises" just mean you have a ******* dog.

This is why McDonalds has to put "Caution Hot" on coffee cups. So people don't sue when the spill HOT coffee on themselves.

You're open to liability regardless of what is says on your ******* leash. It's not a binding legal document, it's a leash.

Oh, well then it's a pretty bad joke. I don't even see how that could be construed as a joke. Are you sure you didn't mean to say "I guess you're right", because otherwise you have the comedic sensibility of boiled carrots.

I think I will live. Bring on the thumbs, I am sure I can survive a few red pixels on a screen sent from people I have never met and don't care about half a world away. ;)

I didn't thumb you either way. Thumbing is for either fantastic content or irresponsibly ****** content.

For me there is no middle ground.
