Yes, in the future, things such as the dissolution of the Soviet Union, the Kosovo War, the Columbine High School Massacre, the Rwandan Genocide, the end of the South African apartheid, and the impeachment of President Clinton are only remembered by a group of jackasses born in the late 80s who think they're better than everyone else because they were born in the late 80s.
User avatar #20 to #18 - ivoryhammer (07/21/2014) [-]
Nah, only things worth remembering from the 90's were Hey Arnold, Rugrats, and Doug!
User avatar #25 to #18 - demandsgayversion (07/21/2014) [-]
While being born in the mid80's would make more sense towards appreciating the 90's, "nineties kids" are people born in the 90's. It doesn't make sense, but that's how it works.

Why would the high school thing still be important in five hundred years? It was not the first, not the last and not the worst. I doubt it's still relevant by 2548.

That's why 90's was the hayday of the home video. They'll be laughing at funny videos in 30XX.

I dont care about the whole "90s were the best" **** but you arent a 90s kid if you're born in 99.

Its like 95 at the latest.

Same way I'm not a doctor because I have done a first aid course.
User avatar #35 to #12 - mrjunebug (07/21/2014) [-]
But if you were born in 1990, that means you were 10 in 2000. Any body that was born in the 90s were 10 or younger in the early 2000s. If you were born in the 80s, you were a 80s baby and a 90s kid. So every true 90s kid are in their 30s now. Anyone in their 20s that brag about the 90s are just bragging about the early 2000s. You can't enjoy Pokemon or anything else 90s kids feel superior about when you're still in your ******* diapers.

although I agree with you, that was a horrible analogy

that assumes humanity will last another 8 thousand years. i don't know if that is a safe assumption to make.

Well, we survived for the last 100000 years with extremely primitive technology, I think we will survive for a while.

Killing 1 ***** with a stick is way different than killing 100,000,000 ****** with a hydrogen bomb.

That's like 1.4 percent of the population. 1 ***** dying back then could've made or break the tribe.
