E-text books. But in the future they drop the E because no one knows what a book is anymore so it's kinda pointless

I think they'd made huge leaps in science. I think they'll be able to just "program" in knowledge Matrix style.

Introducing the new ibook!
Literally the same as a normal book, but $500 more expensive so you know it's quality!
User avatar #115 to #11 - bookyle (01/08/2014) [-]
Oh don't get me started...

******* ebooks and their access codes. Normally you can buy a book and later sell it to get a portion of your money back. But not ******* access code to ebooks. You pay whatever and then the entire money is gone. You can only use the access code once and its done. You literally got nothing for your money. It's not even like software where you pay for an intangible thing and you get to keep it. After the semester is over, the ******* access is revoked. ******* professor who just have to use a ebook and not an actual book.

User avatar #84 to #80 - fizzor (01/08/2014) [-]
90's kids are people who remember living through the 90's. Usually these people were born before or very early of the 90's. I was born in '94 but I don't remember a single ******* thing about it, so I don't consider myself a 90's kid.
#88 to #84 - marioauditore (01/08/2014) [-]

I totally agree with you, the real reason for my comment was to joke about the kids born in the late 90's, who talks about the good thing about the 90's, even though they only was 1-2 years old.

The music was better, the tv was better, people weren't glued to their damn iphones, hanging out in person existed (as opposed to "oh i'll just text/call/Skype you"), the internet wasn't as big of a deal, therefore people actually did things in their spare time, and the list goes on.

But honestly, I'd choose any decade over this one. The 90's are just ideal to me.
User avatar #82 to #81 - AresX (01/08/2014) [-]
********* of good artists now, even more accessible thanks to the internet. Debatable. It's convenient to have a phone. People still hang out in person, they probably just don't like you much. The internet is amazing now, it's a gigantic pool of knowledge on anything you can think of, hell you can teach yourself any instrument thanks to youtube, or look up an cooking recipe in an instant. We have even more things to do in our spare time nowadays.

Jesus Christ man, stop using this decade as a scapegoat for your inability to see wonder in the world. ****** awesome now, stop focusing on the little bits of ******** like some edgy teen and look around at how amazing our world is now as opposed to 20 years ago.
User avatar #83 to #82 - hahahaheidi (01/08/2014) [-]
Literally the only thing I said was "I miss the 90's." I never once said anything negative about things these days, all I said was I prefer how they used to be.

I don't know why you even asked me if you were just going to insult me over my opinion.

Inb4 "it's the internet, no one cares about your opinion," you ******* asked.
#97 - Rascal (01/08/2014) [-]
This ******** again

1.) You can't remember what you didn't experience. I don't remember World War II, because I wasn't ******* there.

2.) If you were born in the 80's you can call yourself a 90's kid. If you were born in the 90's you are a 2000 kid.

inb4 here come the ******** down syndrome autistic faggots born in 1998 saying they remember the 90's and they miss them
User avatar #114 to #97 - agrofenlas (01/08/2014) [-]
I was born in '94. I only really remember '98 and '99. I don't miss the 90's, I miss the early morning cartoons. Thunder cats, He-man, Power Rangers, Astro boy. I miss those, not the years.

I was a kid in the 90's, good times... That was when the internet was slow and no kids had mobile phones...

Kids get bought too many toys these days, a kid doesn't need an iPad.
My parents never even bought me my own bike, I always rode hand me downs. If I wanted something I had to do chores for my parents to earn pocket money and save my money to buy it. I never got an allowance.
#98 to #90 - Rascal (01/08/2014) [-]
if you were born in the 90's you didn't experience the 90's

Let me correct your opening sentence.

I was a kin in the 90's, so I am a 2000 kid. 2000's good times... that was when the internet worked fine, as I was to young to know any different. I am still a child so I pretend I have a larger range of life experiences then I actually do.
User avatar #121 to #98 - turkeyslapper (01/08/2014) [-]
Nice story.

I was born in 89 so yes I was a KID in the 90s.
