never had it cooked, but it was pretty tasty fresh off of a recently killed rabbit.

hmm.i myself prefer moose. or reindeer.


i suggest trying moose cooked in frying pan with some butter


then throw some rye bread into the mix and enjoy.or just scoop up some of the grease and meat with a rye bread and then eat it that way. tastes like heaven



also pasta and moose meat is great.specially if you cook the pasta with some butter.



im from finland so everything i cook has butter in it.

I've had it in stew form. With juniper/ other appropriate spices, it looses some of the gaminess that turns most people off to hunted meat. I suppose it also helps that the stew was made by a German, using one of his mother's recipes, with home made bread.
